We had a bad draft streak... 16 through 21, 6 drafts, 2 pro bowlers... (Dickson and Metcalf). Our 22 and 23 drafts I think are very good. My point is we had to have holes somewhere and it isn't surprising it is on the O-line. But, if you look at 22, 23, and 24 drafts we have been investing in O line, Cross, Lucas, Bradford, Oluwatimi, Haynes, Laumea, and Jerrell. I just don't know, I am glad I it isn't my job!
And we NEVER spent a round 2 pick on interior linemen in ANY of those drafts. In fact, the Hawks haven't spent a Round 2 pick on interior Offensive line in almost 15 years.
You should look at how common this is around the League. It's not just the hawks. The draft is a lottery. Also, it's looking like the 9ers whiffed on every pick last year (according to 9ers fans)
@@2jYeti Except since 2012 the Rams have spent (4) 2nd round picks on Interior OLine and the 49ers (3) 2nd round picks on interior OLine.....of those 7 linemen drafted 6 have made the pro bowl at least once. It's NOT a lottery for our two big enemies.
Pretty sure the upcoming season is do or die for John Schneider. I expect him to focus on improving our O line and retaining skill position talent. Don’t anticipate Geno or DK leaving. I’m hoping they draft a developmental QB in R2 or 3.
I'm going to repeat this until someone listens. Until the offensive line is massively improved, invested in and implemented correctly our team will be stuck in mediocrity. Most NFL quartebacks would massively improve with a full 3 seconds in the pocket. There isn't a solid running team (Baltimore) that doesn't have a awesome Oline. 31 million would go a long way to improving the Oline.
Im tired of Geno honestly. He plays how id expect a good 2nd or 3rd year rookie qb to play except he’s on a decade with a downward trend for the last 2 years. He just doesnt look good. The mistakes dont look good. The wins dont look good. The losses are not surprising and a good chunk of the wins are. The seahawks play good enough to match their competition, every game. Crappy team or great team. Maybe its a coaching issue?? They always play to their competition and always worse until the 2nd half. They never start a game juiced and hungry. Its like they’re all fat fed and happy and only concerned with guarding whats already on their plate. Terrible for such a young group

I am ready for a new QB with the new OC. No reason for an old journeyman QB like Geno to learn a new system

Two misses... by JS
Cut Geno, Lockett, Fant, D Jones, trade Metcalf. That is the logical decisions. But nah, we have a nice guy as GM who wants to run it back for average

I think more people understand that now. It’s annoying when people complain about Geno when he was the mvp of the offense last 3 years
A decent line with our running backs healthy would be nice for a change
I listened. You can stop now
Even when Geno has time, he sucks. Need to move on sooner than later. Just a huge waste of time
Unfortunately, we will have to watch one more year of Geno be average and then teach the system to our new future QB.
Get Will Stein OC at Oregon.

Be a Rams fan
Huff and Harbaugh still need to be fired!

Won’t be surprised if Doug Pederson is the next Seahawks OC
No thanks

Alright fine if nobody is going to do it. I'll take the job.
