- Today we went baby shopping for the big ticket items, we shopped for our first ever pram & our first ever car seat and we ended up getting our babies pram & car seat!! YAY! Enjoy angels, love you xxx

Wish more people would like this so Imogen definitely sees it. Absolutely agree, cot bumpers are not considered safe sleeping!

Brings me so much joy watching Spencer and Imogen on their beautiful journey. Just seeing them with the cribs and pushchairs I can see they’re going to be amazing parents. Never seen so much unconditional love in one video. Love you both so much , loving the baby and renovation videos !!!

Alot of people don't realise but just to let you know when buying and using a travel system (carseat and pram) you can only have baby in a car seat for a max of a few hours at any time as it can increase risk of SIDS, so great if your just nipping to the shops and back but if your out for the day then using the carrycot is safest. So exciting! I loved buying the pram and decorating the nursery 🥰 yes i want more baby content please!! xx

Don't spend stupid money on a nursing chair, the prices get hiked up because it's 'for a specific purpose' similar to how womens razors are more expensive because they're pink and targeted for a specific audience. Find what sort of chair you'll find most comfortable to sit in and look around at standard armchairs - you won't use it as much as you think you will and so spending a crazy amount just because it says its for nursing whilst being exactly the same as normal armchairs is wild. So glad you had an amazing day!!
Completely agree with this comment. I wanted one when I had my baby but didn't due cost. Then went to IKEA and they have rocking chairs that are comfy and do the same thing one was £50 😱😱

Buying baby gear is sooo exciting, I am reliving it all through you. You start doing ‘tummy time’ straight away as it helps to build up their neck muscle strength.
Such a great experience shopping for baby bits and all but please dont forget you dont actually need that much as there is soo much available and it can be quite overwhelming as you think you need everything! My best advice is to choose items you want to splurge on and there are so many items in great condition 2nd hand available because baby phase is only so short 💖 xx
This made me want another baby (have 3) but then I remembered I literally went to mothercare once during my whole pregnancy as due to hyperemesis I was sick all day everyday 😫. Thanks for making me remember that we are done 🤣 xx

@@Septemberbaby. it's super easy when you do it correctly. You need to press the button on the top of handle behind the big button in the middle. Once the handle is all the way down it's actually a one handed fold.

I know this has been commented a lot but it’s so so important! Cot bumpers are a major sids hazard it’s really not worth the risk. Google them before deciding to buy please read the guidelines first. And literally it’s so hard to know everything! I’d definitely recommend getting a steriliser even with the mam ones though it’s so much easier as you’ll use 5/6 bottles in a day it’s so much easier to just stick them in at night and then they’re ready for the day. I love how much you’re both taking this in and just asking questions! Such a brilliant attitude to parenting already! xx

I would definitely get a nursing chair with a higher back if you’re planning on breast feeding - will save your back! The IKEA arm chair everyone has is the one we use and we love it!! xx

If you do invest in a nursing chair I’d definitely recommend one with a nice high back and a foot stool if you’re feeling boujie for extra comfort as you may spend some time in it 🙌🏻

We have the cybex Priam and cloud car seat (just transitioned to the sirona Z car seat)!
We absolutely love it, it’s such a beautiful luxurious and comfy pram! I always get so many compliments, the carry cot is way bigger than most other brands so lasts ages and my little boy loves the seat part now!
The only thing il say is the seat pack is soooo hard to put together 😂 so when it comes to that you’ll think it’s broken or that somethings missing but it’s just really hard! I had to watch a TH-cam video about 20x before I managed to do it! Xxxx

We used the tommee tippee with our 1st and switched to mam at 8 months and with our 2nd we started straight off with mam. Theyre an amazing brand. So handy having self sterilisation as it cuts down the cleaning time so much and you don't need to worry about running out of fresh bottles when out as you can clean almost anywhere. Theyre dummies are also amazing💖
Imogen, YES the mam bottles are the best that I have ever used for all my bubs! They self sterilise too which is a massive bonus!!!
The mam bottles is amazing I used them for my little ones they are anti colic bottles they are good and don’t get any cot bumpers they are a suffocation hazard ❤️
My baby boy is 6 months old. At the beginning I fall in love with the e-priam but honestly is not worth , I bought it and 2 days later the battery had some problem,😔and also is really heavy compared with the priam without the battery, that one was the one that I choose at the end.😊
when my son was born 5 years ago we got the icandy pram as a sound and lighting technican by trade so i thought it would be easy to fold down but i found i was taking the instruction manual with me everytime me my wife and son went out in the car but it was a excellent pram but when me and my wife have a little brother or sister for our son im considering the bugaboo or stokke xplory something that is easy to fold down ,great video by the way

Did the waterproof mattress protectors work from JL? Which Pram did you buy eventually? Happy with it? Did you need double everything the sales assistant recommended? First baby due in 5 months. xx
I have the cybex car seat and swivel isofix for my baby girl and it’s an absolute life saver to get them in and out of the car if you don’t want to take the whole car seat out as once you’ve got a baby in the cybex car seat they do start to get really heavy to carry around as they grow! My little one is 6 months now and it’s a work out carrying her to the car 😂 so excited for youuu! 🤍🤍
The travel systems 3 in 1 are good so you can attach the car seat to the pram frame it’s brilliant really handy if your out and about in the car but the carrycot part for us was a waste of money as we only got about 11/12 weeks out of it and my girl is too small for the seat unit so we had to then buy a smaller lighter buggy that does from birth after spending over £800 on a travel system 🙈🙈 if I’d have known that I would have just bought a lighter buggy and a car seat separate probably would have saved us money too! Shopping for the pram was one of my favourite parts though! All the best to yous and your baby girl ❤️

I had the cybex cloud for two babies it’s amazing very similar. I had Stokke prams which is another amazing brand safety wise and looks my two nearly 3 year old still uses my stokke and my son stayed in his until he was 4 when he was tired to walk. Stokke is great from newborn to much older children and they take a cybex seat too x

the mam ottles are the best because you dont need to get a big bulky sterliser you stack the bottle in a way put water in the bottom and use a microwave
