I would genuinely appreciate a video from Charlie just explaining or fleshing out some of the basics of YuGi-Oh. As someone who never got to play the trading card game and therefore completely unfamiliar with even the most basic shit, I'm instantly transfixed on Charlie and his mastery of the game. And he has the perfect voice for that sort of informative video. Passionate and funny without being cringe
The game is not really enjoyable tbh lol. I stopped playing right before pendulums were introduced. Hand traps are the laziest thing ever. If you want to learn just watch dueling network vids because it scales in difficulty after pendulums EXPONENTIALLY. It becomes board building rather than a card game.

@@brandonthompson5796 team aps/farfa/mst are all good channels for yugioh content with both economy and game state videos. To start, try duel links to understand the basic turn based rules. Learn EARLY about timing and effects resolving so that you don’t have to argue. Games will automatically resolve by timing and chain, however in real life it gets annoying.
@@brandonthompson5796 duel links is a good place to start (I played dl before this came out) it basically introduces mechanics up to pendulums but it's a "speed duel" (less confusion basically). Then watch some tcg youtubers/tutorials since master duel is kinda like that. If you want deck ideas, watch this guy called "duel links meta."

I love that you’re using a banish deck (with inferno tempest too!). I also had a deck before that revolves around inferno tempest (with Grinder Golem still legal).
My advice is to never skip the tutorials and to complete all of the Solo Mode to find an archetype/strategy you would like to build around and use for ranked games. To complete the Solo Mode faster when it comes to using your own decks, I recommend buying the Magician Pendulum structure deck three times to give you an idea how to build a deck and to learn combos/strategies you could do out of the deck you built. This is what I did, Currently completing the 2nd part of the last chapter of Solo Mode, and created non-competitive Rokket-Borrel-Topologic and Code Talker deck out of the gems I earned on logging-in daily, doing missions, and completing Solo Mode. I'm really loving my Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend and the cards of that sect. If you wanna have a lot of fun and laugh at people surrendering try using "Generaider Boss" and then cards related to that. Beauty of Generaider boss the spell is that when it's activated you not only get to special summon any Generaider card you have in your deck but any empty spots you have become populated by 1500 v 1500 guards. This effect will happen every time you are attacked until it is destroyed or they destroy you. If their cards aren't OP they will lose *every single time*

I had the best card opening pack ever a couple days ago. I got like, 15 SRs and 5 URs and it happened 2 or 3 times in total for one pack. It was insane. And then the other day I got 5 SRs and 5 URs but almost all of them were useless for me.
What most frustrating when playing this game online is if your opponent taking too long time just to start, taking to long just for an option or taking too long just for their 'solitaire' action in and out of the cards like never ending and have ridiculous monsters attack more than 3000, killing you in just one battle turn

I’ve been steamrolling through to gold using my Stardust Synchro deck I used to use back when I was a kid. It’s still missing some cards, cause not all of them are in the game yet, but feels so good to synchro summon 2 Stardust Dragons + 1 Stardust Quasar Dragon.

I would genuinely appreciate a video from Charlie just explaining or fleshing out some of the basics of YuGi-Oh. As someone who never got to play the trading card game and therefore completely unfamiliar with even the most basic shit, I'm instantly transfixed on Charlie and his mastery of the game. And he has the perfect voice for that sort of informative video. Passionate and funny without being cringe
The game is not really enjoyable tbh lol. I stopped playing right before pendulums were introduced. Hand traps are the laziest thing ever.
If you want to learn just watch dueling network vids because it scales in difficulty after pendulums EXPONENTIALLY. It becomes board building rather than a card game.

@@brandonthompson5796 team aps/farfa/mst are all good channels for yugioh content with both economy and game state videos. To start, try duel links to understand the basic turn based rules. Learn EARLY about timing and effects resolving so that you don’t have to argue. Games will automatically resolve by timing and chain, however in real life it gets annoying.
@@brandonthompson5796 duel links is a good place to start (I played dl before this came out) it basically introduces mechanics up to pendulums but it's a "speed duel" (less confusion basically). Then watch some tcg youtubers/tutorials since master duel is kinda like that. If you want deck ideas, watch this guy called "duel links meta."

I've been hesitating about this game, but everyones been playing it so guess I'll give it a go. The issue is I really don't know how to play Yu-Gi-Oh
We've got a tutorial inside the game and there's single player mode
Do yourself a favor and look up tutorials lol. You can get the hang of it sooner or later.
My advice is to never skip the tutorials and to complete all of the Solo Mode to find an archetype/strategy you would like to build around and use for ranked games. To complete the Solo Mode faster when it comes to using your own decks, I recommend buying the Magician Pendulum structure deck three times to give you an idea how to build a deck and to learn combos/strategies you could do out of the deck you built.
This is what I did, Currently completing the 2nd part of the last chapter of Solo Mode, and created non-competitive Rokket-Borrel-Topologic and Code Talker deck out of the gems I earned on logging-in daily, doing missions, and completing Solo Mode. Hope this helps dude!
The game has a tutorial and a solo mode to help you learn mechanics. Get it it g, it helps you out instead of throwing you in.

I'm really loving my Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend and the cards of that sect. If you wanna have a lot of fun and laugh at people surrendering try using "Generaider Boss" and then cards related to that. Beauty of Generaider boss the spell is that when it's activated you not only get to special summon any Generaider card you have in your deck but any empty spots you have become populated by 1500 v 1500 guards. This effect will happen every time you are attacked until it is destroyed or they destroy you. If their cards aren't OP they will lose *every single time*

What most frustrating when playing this game online is if your opponent taking too long time just to start, taking to long just for an option or taking too long just for their 'solitaire' action in and out of the cards like never ending and have ridiculous monsters attack more than 3000, killing you in just one battle turn

I’ve been steamrolling through to gold using my Stardust Synchro deck I used to use back when I was a kid.

I crushed my friend's soul yesterday in this game. He went first. I went second and ended it right there on turn 2. Dark Magician may not be the strongest deck in the game but he's done me right ever since I bought Yugi's original starter deck when the game first came out. The heart of the cards annihilated him.
