-Why is your channel called sophdoesnails? I started my Instagram account a couple years before TH-cam, where I did loads of nail art. When I started youtube I wanted to keep the same name so I was easier to find! Nail videos are too difficult to film + I prefer makeup!

I used to have SUPER OILY skin when I was under 25 years old.. now as 27 my skin is combi/dry, and getting more dry every year. So it could be *gasp* your skin aging😅

I don’t understand how you aren’t at 1 million. I’ll admit I came a little late to your videos. Acne scars! I had loads from a really bad spell when I was 17, I used vitamin E everything on a recommendation from a friend of my mum's who is a beautian. She swore by Vitamin C and E for healing scaring, so I started using moisturisers etc with that as a key ingredient. You can get vitamin E intensive creams and body shop do an oil that's great and Bio oil I used as well and I do think it helps.
Side note: my skin started getting drier when I turned 20 AND been loving putting blush on my nose I think it looks so cute

Your extension looks good. Your skin doesnt look dry. My skin is always dry when the weather is cold. 😭 for acne scars, theres a lot of product that can help acne, like the indian healing clay is good but to be honest. The best one i can suggest is microneedling with PRP. I had it done and definitely help with my dark spots and i notice my large pores seems smaller. I love when you use superdrugs makeup because i like to use affordable makeup too 😂🥰 i love your videos Soph. Am just usually a silent viewer 😂 i want that eyeshadow palette but for £20 is still good, the quality seems good 😍 like all those colours. I love that burgundy colour. You look so pretty even without the makeup. I would just look like a boiled potato 😭

Girl for your acne scars use bio oil on the scar! I used it for a while when my skin was bad and it takes makeup off very well and cleared my skin 💘💘

The ordinary rose oil is amazing for acne scarring! I have oily skin so just put it on at night and I wake up and my skin/marks from spots are gone. 🎉🙌🏻
For acne scars I've been loving the Derma E scar gel! You can find it on Amazon and it worked amazing on my skin!

My skin gets really dry when the weather changes at winter so that might be causing the dry skin? I use hydrocortisone cream which helps a lot❤️

Rosehip seed oil helps with scarring. 🙂 The one by The Ordinary is pretty good. Use it as a last step on your night-time skin care routine.
Had zero need want or desire for this palette... Soph does one look with it and I'm obsessed!!!
I was on roaccutane recently and the pixi glow tonic has really been helping the scars fade faster. I also use a vitamin c serum and rose hip oil

For acne scars, I used bio oil. It sounds mental but it didn't make me break out or look like a lightbulb, it's amazing! I also use facial oils at night (a tropic one and a rose hip seed oil) it has made my skin so much more even.
I would say it's a case of finding what works for you 🤷♀️

Rose hip oil by the ordinary helped me with my scarring from acne it takes a bit but you can speed it up with a gentle retinol
For acne and acne scars I use snail gel and it's very hydrating. Snail gel is really good for any kind of scars not just the acne ones
Highly recommend Olehenriksen Glo2OH toner at night and Sephora Brand Vitamin C serum in the morning! It has changed my skin with acne scars & discoloration!

The Ordinary make a vitamin c serum (the silicone-based formula) that is excellent for fading acne scars. I've also noticed a huge difference in my excess oils and how badly my skin scars since I started using their rosehip oil at night.
i get eczema on my eyelids and the skyn iceland relief eye pen is amazing ! also just using normal eczema cream x

I would highly recommend the new Catrice Ten!sational (that’s literally what’s on the bottle!) 10 in 1 primer,it’s a very natural glowy moisturising primer but it’s absolutely amazing! I have oily skin like you and I’ve used it with loads of different foundations even the Bourjois healthy skin one and that’s glowy but once powdered down I didn’t have to touch up even after 9hrs I was amazed,it has a tint to it and even looks beautiful on its own! Xxx
I'm sure that you know this already, but I have found if my moisturizer has ceramides my skin feels MUCH more hydrated. Cerave has a nice moisturizer!
