I think what Slot was saying about the injuries returning around the time of the window opening is that we won't need to grab a defender in the window since we don't really need a defender once they are all healthy, we can look at other options in the window that can help over the long haul rather than an immediate need. I think we need another imperious center back that can compete with Virgil and Ibou and open up more tactical options when we are getting the bus parked against us. I think that would do wonders in the squad. I think we could use a good box to box midfielder who can help us with rotation once the knockout stages of the UCL are upon us, and the run in for the league. One of best signs I've noticed with Slot vs Klopp is that Slot's man management is better. He doesn't run the starters into the ground. Klopp's sides tended to run out of steam in March. Especially when we were still in the title hunt, UCL, and league cups late. That being said we need to keep, Virgil and Mo, I am not as committed with TAA. I want to keep him but if I had to let one go, he'd be it. Hope we make the right moves. If we don't keep anyone, we damn well better have a blockbuster summer.

They lie about not having the right oportunities, and when they have, they make excuses. They've been doing that for a long time now. Liverpool buyed 2 or 3 expensive players in the Klopp era (Alison, Van Dijk, Darwin). The rest of them were cheap and "opportunistic". So were the titles: casual and "opportunistic".
I don’t mind Liverpool having standards in the market. As some people have already stated our transfer policy isn’t perfect, but it’s a damn good one. We wanted Bellingham but the Club chose to spread out that money over multiple players and it’s paying off. So many fans complain despite the fact that the Club’s recruitment are very good at their job and it’s the clear vision and cohesion that Club has that has allowed it to compete recently. Of course Klopp was at the heart of all that. But don’t forget we’ve seen title and UCL winning managers like Conte at Spurs, Mourinho and LVG at United, even Ancelotti at Everton, all fail because of reckless and unorganised spending. Klopp succeeded because he was working at a Club that valued him beyond measure but also had a vision that it stuck to. Slot will do the same. YNWA 🔴
@jamesbarry9477 we have always gotten a talented striker Salah Torres Suarez Fowler Owen Heskey Rush Dalglish so there will be another superstar come along in time

It is clear that LFC need a CB - Konate has a knee problem not some minor hamstring pull. LFC also need a full back as 2 are injured (Bradley gets injured regularly and Tsimikas is in a boot) and 1 (Trent) can get injured any minute. AND LFC need a CDM. 3 in total in January otherwise the pursuit of the major trophies (PL/CL) is in jeopardy.
fsg are the ones that built a new training facility, expanded the stadium signed the likes of Allison van dijk salah firmino mane jota McAllister konate and that list goes on. Even more. They are fantastic I don't care what anyone else says this is facts.
There are a couple articles saying that Barcelona is willing to take 20-25 mil for Frenkie de Jong but his age profile doesn't fit our transfer age demo. He would be a big signing for a 4 year deal which could be a solid piece none the less. His wages would be the real hurdle unless he is fine with a huge pay cut from his insane salary at Barca.
Don't you have to actually MAKE TANSFERS in order to claim you have a transfer strategy? I feel the only strategy Edwards and Hughs have is just to reject doing ANYTHING. 1. They can't be bothered to make signings and strengthen the squad because "the right players are not available." 2. They can't be asked to negotiate with clubs and agents as everyone "wants too much money." 3. They refuse to give new contracts to the best players in the world because "they have unrealistic demands." From my point of view, they just refuse to do anything and just find excuses. And we all know how much John Henry gets turned on by the idea of not spending money. Clowns!
Because they have never signed new players for large amounts, negotiated with clubs or agents and signed new contracts with current players since they've been running the club?
@@DoBetterAlways80s Edwards and Hughes joined at the end of last season lol since then we've had a contract crisis and we signed an injury prone player in Chiesa for cheap...

@DoBetterAlways80s Oh, how I love the "they bought players" boot lickers. Yeah, they bought players. Wanna guess who else bought players? EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE! Our net spend is closer to the relegation sides than to the big teams. Currently, we can't even get players to stay. The club is becoming stingier by the minute. Keep living up their asses, a lot of good that will do you.
@DoBetterAlways80s that was Edwards then, but he's dropping the ball now. What makes him so special, because he's in the football world? Lol He's rubbish now.
I know, what's wrong with the fella? We replace Jurgen Klopp with a top coach, we're top of the PL & the Champions League. We've just beaten Real & City yet he's a upset because we didn't sign an 18 year old & pay him wages that would rival our first team player's. We have a top quality squad & a brilliant new manager, happy days. 🙂
Age is a big thing for me. Proven that a mix of Youth and players in prime (24-30) with a small few over 30 (experienced). We have a number of aging players which if we keep, they can’t be signing players at high peak age 26/7-30 as we have enough in that bracket, with Hancko being 27 on 13December. Age 24/25 would just be ok and have to come in as a first team experienced player (Zubimendi) but 27 on a long deal for a non-guaranteed starter has to be a no. I’m trusting the process as it’s working. Diaz may want to stay but likely he’ll go as age/Barca links. Frustrating with Salah & VanDijk contracts but I do feel you have a guaranteed sale for both down the line so 3 year deals should be no issue.
By excluding Salah 2x in row from the top 30 best players in the world, the establishment exposed themselves for having personal problems with Salah. That's really sloppy thing to do if they want to do proper PR damage control after the fans turned on them. I don't buy any lies they're spewing regarding his age or contract demands.

We need a defender and a midfield at 6 and a legit playmaker like De Bruyne, Coutinho, Iniesta and Odegaard. History has proven that without a playmaker your success rarely lasts, because you need soneone that can open locked doors when a game is tight.
I'm more interested in the now. 3 points away at a blustery wet gale force Newcastle will not be easy and not even 72 hours later having to play Everton away in there last Merseyside derby at goodison they will do anything to make sure it's not remembered as a bad send off. Chelsea play a depleted Southampton and arsenal will beat united at home. We need to win
32 year old Mo Salah, current league top scorer, still at the peak of his powers, and this club say oh sorry hes too old let him go for free. Listen, Liverpool is the top club, most trophies, and they do it their way. Look at united today. Even Ferguson wrote about on multiple occasions. You are better off signing young talent than players for 100M+, because the expensive signings will change the culture of a club where the manager loses power. Salah is a special case. He became a superstar AS a Liverpool player, and it would be cheaper to give him the raise he is after, than let him go to buy the amount of talent to replace his stats (I don't think that can be done either). We have to sign Mo. Look at City they are in deeeeeeeeep trouble as the result of their spending. There is a method to Liverpool's madness. They want loyal players before players with big ego's. And we don't want to risk getting sucked into the discussion for that nonsense European Super League because their isn't enough money involved. Liverpool is the last club holding standard and true. Hard ball negotiations.
Don’t be jealous just because most London clubs have a policy of giving 6 year contracts, that’s an explosion waiting to happen. It isn’t that bad chill out man it’s boardroom football, them silly feckers in suits can’t play football for shite so this is their way of acting out their own football matches, it’s always happened it always will happen and it always fixes itself, through the players on the pitch or in the boardroom. Life’s short you will give yourself a heart attack.

People who moan about FSG are the same ones who cheer when we're top of the league. They go hand in hand. £33m for a 26 year being seen as not right is a little odd to me as a supporter but they know their system, they know their finances, we don't. All I know is under FSG I've seen the greatest Liverpool moments in my lifetime and long may it continue
WHY DID WE WON ONLY ONE PRIMIER LEAGUE AND ONE CHAMPION LEAGUE ?CAN U TELL ME ?
@@liversalah5560 Sure I'll give you 115 reasons why..... The same reason every single other club including those who spent BILLIONS didn't win them either.

People running our club treat us just like all other rich people/leaders in this world. An irrelevant inconvenience - they tell us whatever lies are needed to shut us up and then ignore us and do whatever they like - until they need to lie to us some more or take some more of our money.
FSG are just interested in the money, i would call for them to sell up but we all know who they will sell to. Why have billionaire foreign owners if the club is self sustaining - we could be run by the fans with this business model
Average fee for players were 30 to 40
Craig I'm happy with our squad and do agree we need to lock down our three stars but correctly said we need cover for Gravenberch
YNWA 🔴
So far, it's been working, and let's face it, players get old-time moves on, new talent will always come along. So stay calm 😌
Players like Salah don't just come along - the fact he is probably the best rw in the prem era proves this
@jamesbarry9477 we have always gotten a talented striker Salah Torres Suarez Fowler Owen Heskey Rush Dalglish so there will be another superstar come along in time
@@iantotalrecall How many of them won you a prem??? One did so no he isn't that easy to replce
Hey Craig, just a thought, im a chess player, and im always thinking in tactical terms. Suppose Mo, TAA, and VVD dont know if they gonna be offered contracts, and can negotiate in January. Would they not currently play their hearts out for potential suitors? In which case I would offer them what they want on 31 December only. By then the prem could be wrapped up... hypothetically!! YNWA
I must admit I was gutted about Anthony Gordon he was soo hyped for the move too x
Big up Craig 👍🏾👍💯
In Michael Edward We trust, as long as we win im behind FSG.
fsg are the ones that built a new training facility, expanded the stadium signed the likes of Allison van dijk salah firmino mane jota McAllister konate and that list goes on. Even more. They are the ones that got in jurgen klopp and arne slot as his successor !!! Say all you want but fsg know exactly what they are doing !!!
His wages would be the real hurdle unless he is fine with a huge pay cut from his insane salary at Barca.
he's on 700k a week, insane
Don't you have to actually MAKE TANSFERS in order to claim you have a transfer strategy? I feel the only strategy Edwards and Hughs have is just to reject doing ANYTHING.
1. They can't be bothered to make signings and strengthen the squad because "the right players are not available."
2. They can't be asked to negotiate with clubs and agents as everyone "wants too much money."
3. They refuse to give new contracts to the best players in the world because "they have unrealistic demands."
From my point of view, they just refuse to do anything and just find excuses.
@coen8677 Edwards brought us Salah, Mane, VVD, Robertson, Allison etc in his previous tenure with the club and likes to keep things quiet. If this is part of his strategy I trust it. All we see are the headlines, we do not see what is going on behind the scenes. What did you expect a brand new squad by now?
@DoBetterAlways80s Oh, how I love the "they bought players" boot lickers. Yeah, they bought players. Wanna guess who else bought players? EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE! Our net spend is closer to the relegation sides than to the big teams. Currently, we can't even get players to stay. The club is becoming stingier by the minute. Keep living up their asses, a lot of good that will do you.
@DoBetterAlways80s that was Edwards then, but he's dropping the ball now. I don't care how good you were at your job years ago, if you're costing the company more money with your salary but you're messing up, you're fired... Why should it be different for him? What makes him so special, because he's in the football world? Lol He's rubbish now.
Liverpool are top.
Enjoy it.
@johnmichaelson9173 correct mate
Gravenberch turned out better than Bellingham, and still have Endo
"I'd love to blag a living talking and doing nothing"
Egh that's all you do Craig
By excluding Salah 2x in row from the top 30 best players in the world, the establishment exposed themselves for having personal problems with Salah. That's really sloppy thing to do if they want to do proper PR damage control after the fans turned on them. I don't buy any lies they're spewing regarding his age or contract demands.
Whats the point in building 2 new stands, haveing extra 16,000 fans per season yet FSG buy 1 injury prone player per season,,what a pathetic transfer policy per season,,these are the other donkey players brought per season thiango, mellow, and now casier , utter sick joke 😂
And we're top of two leagues ffs
*Melo and Chiesa :)
Strategy is to be linked with a load of top players then spend 5 quid on some injury prone player
Leny yoro is no way near beeing god enough for liverpool
Transfer policy is insane always cheap options by cheap skate Henry
FSG Transfer strategy.
Hope the manager gets it right, and the current players, play out of their skin.
Liverpools transfer policy: young world class player for about 10 mil. See any of those about? also Liverpools transfer policy: let go for free any current player over 25 who is world class because they are too old. Mid table here we come in coming seasons
We don’t care about age we want success now, don’t blow it,
We need a defender and a midfield at 6 and a legit playmaker like De Bruyne, Coutinho, Iniesta and Odegaard. History has proven that without a playmaker your success rarely lasts, because you need soneone that can open locked doors when a game is tight.
Szbo
I think their strategy is someone like Federico Chiesa. Cheap to gamble.
Do you really think the agents aren’t talking to other clubs already? Don’t worry about 27 days till January
I mean it when i say, if this club lets Salah go this summer, we WILL be boycotting the club, i mean it, there WILL BE MASS PROTESTS
Fsg tranfer policy sell sell sell , profit , profit, profit
Who have they sold for a profit that isn't an academy player who wouldn't have made Liverpool's first team anyway?
Everything is rumours, I am not worried about virg, salah and trent until they are gone.
LFC transfer policy is to buy cheap and injured (read Chiesa)
my god we really are cheap as fuck! and people expect us to go and sign the likes of frimpong ect no chance
They want all the franchise going and the glory and signing NFL player for 10 years for 600£ million but what about us
32 year old Mo Salah, current league top scorer, still at the peak of his powers, and this club say oh sorry hes too old let him go for free. AA 26 year old one of best right backs in world, oh sorry hes too old let him go for free. VVD 33 year old back to his best this season, always top level, one of best defenders in world, club say oh sorry hes too old let him go for free. Who are the clowns running this show? other clubs are laughing at Liverpool.
the problem is you lot are listening to journalists who sit there and do nothing all day long trying to create stories
Why do you hold liverpool guilty for what journalists say? Did you not learn from the Bellingham saga ?
We couldn’t sign Hancko because he is 26 - Chiesa is 26 and we signed him I don’t even think John sticks by his Strategy to be honest 😂
What transfer strategy with FSG not showing us the money. Have full fate in the players and management but not with FSG. Even if Edwards and Hughes find the perfect player FSG won't splash the cash😢😡😡😡😢
Penny wise and pound foolish
Young, cheap......and, don't forget, injured! ;)
That's a bit naughty of slot on man city charges but if their players can slag off the city of Liverpool he can joke about man city.
Alonso didn't enter the interview process as such he could never have neen short listed and never first choice
Fat lot of good it did United bringing him in
Lad you're just embarrassing yourself saying Richard Hughes & Michael Edward's just sit around chatting. I'm sorry but you're totally ignorant to what their respective jobs entail day to day.
Craig I enjoy your content and tune in daily, however you're going over the ledge now. You had this same stance at the end of the summer window and look where we are now. In Edwards, Hughes and Slot we trust. We're doing the league title and Champions league double. Notice I didn't say UCL, that's the conference league.
Do you want transfers or where we are now? Every 30 days, you get on a rant about transfers. Aren't you satisfied with where we are?
Frenkie de Jong very good player but a lot of injureds.
I remember when these guys he is complaining about were coming back and he was all for them. So fickle
Hasn't FSG just paid ridiculouslys money for a sports athlete
If the owners & those in charge of transfers & contracts performed as well as the team , wed be out of this world . With YHVH YNWA . Merry Christmas to all 🎄🎅
They bought the team and provided what they needed to perform
@brucegarethgeorge well let's hope ,it don't go like last year , going for the Quad , & the wheels came off , via fatigue. Although I will admit during that period we did play four away games on the trot.
@RabbiMalahkYah thats due to an unusual amount of injuries. Some may be a result of our high intensity style of play.
Edwards & Hughes are getting huge wages for doing nothing
Why the long face about Lenny Yoro?
He will waste away at Manure.
No transfer is FSG stragedy !! Only profit !! Give salah, virgil and trent new contracts
You were "lied to"?.. who lied, wheres the conversation ( not media article you chose to read)
It's frustrating but I believe in our club policy it's worked so far
Your definition of work is very different from most LFC fans.
How many league titles have we won with these mugs?
@Waleed-b07 where were we before fsg came. People have short memories
@@kieranobrien7342 that's usually my response.
FSG have the best track record of basically any owner in the EPL (maybe Brighton's are considered at a higher level? maybe?), have won every single title possible for the club (but the Europa League), and have upgraded the grounds, academy and entire pay-scale of the team.
@@kieranobrien7342its not just about the past though, its been nearly 15 years since those times (I am grateful for their help but not in debt to them). I feel like we have outgrown the model due to where we are as a club now and the policy/strategy off the pitch has not been that great these past few years (players leaving on a free, no contracts sorted, failed negotiations for targets, etc)
Yeah I agree with you 😂
Where did klopps 9 years near over 2 billions profits go for liverpool as he reached abt 13 cup finals which include being 2nd in the league ,where are the big signings lol 😆 😳
Craig, how comes you've never covered a piece on Kellehers wages. Hes on £10k/week. Thats just wrong. Diaz is on £70k/week. Thats robbery
Their agents should ask for a renegotiated contract to increase years and wages, it’s up to them, they signed their contract it wasn’t forged.
@pmas27 agents asking to renegotiate contracts shows little loyalty and recognition from the club. Especially for Kelleher.

Midfield unicorn because they didn't sign 3 midfielders in the one window for £130m odd. Why not fuck up your entire wage structure that has served you well to sign Yoro, makes great business sense, should definintely be modeling themselves on United in recent times. Like some of your content but the crying about transfers, get a grip.
Coz FSG are cheap!
But they bought a 30 yr old in endo
Alonso is not a Liverpool legend, time fans get over him. He left Liverpool of his own choice when club was on brink of winning the league, and that team never recovered. Then he had chance to manage Liverpool and he said no thanks. When will fans stop pursuing this guy? he doesnt love Liverpool, fact.

Let’s be honest you have and they have no clue. You are guessing
Look at how many trophies klopp lost with liverpool, due to lack of signings and no signings at all ,,think klopp lost abt 7 finials which in clude premi titals by 1 points, FSG policy is buy cheap and injured players ,thiango for whole season, along with Arthur donkey mello,,and this season 1 whole player casier ,,the scam owner are taking money of the club to buy other franchises around the world 🌎 and there not investing in lfc 🙄

2. Repeat
No it's not "young and cheap".
Do you just come out with whatever you like to say on the spur of the moment?
FSG look at value for money, that's not the same as "young and cheap".
They will pay top dollar if they get their money's worth.
VVD, Alison. Not "young and cheap".
Salah at the time was £30m+ which wasn't exactly "young and cheap".
Nunez is not "young and cheap". Young and useless yes.
Diaz is not "young and cheap".
Keita was not "young and cheap"
Shall I go on?
FSG for all their faults are managing a football club. You don't like the Chelsea and City models, so what model do you like exactly? The Man Utd one? borrow borrow and borrow more so you're £700m in debt??
