      this is really late, and you've probably found out how, but using a sampler that has an ahdsr envelope, set sustain to 0 and up hold and this should work

    Question; sounds great no doubt, but does any one actually buy this style of music as its very generic .... I guess the new younger generation of 'mouse click boys' have changed the way music gets produced... Can we compare todays music in general to 30 years ago? Did the mouse click gang spend years practicing their art, or is to simply too easy now to Get a good sound buying a plug in/or one finger sample pack? Not a criticism just a question to throw out there....

    • @Pruuc
      @Pruuc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Music has gotten way less generic as it has become easier to produce, more people can make more interesting sounds. People will say all music sounds the same today and then go listen to rock which has the same same 4 instruments every song.

    • @DDM1995
      @DDM1995 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Out of all the mouseclick boys, these 2 are one of the least generic out there. Doing their thing while experimenting with things on the way.
      Apart from being musically talented.
      These lads really know what they're doing on a technical level. Even the chords are richer than most pop songs. From what I can tell: Guy is an excellent mixing engineer, composer and arranger. Probably has the same base of knowledge as the big analog studio engineers have. He's also a drummer and god knows what else. Howard is appearantly a brilliant singer, creates the harmonic elements of the track within minutes. Plays in the melodies, chords, basslines with his keyboard. That takes a lot of skill too. He creates those on the spot.
      If you compare this to a guitarist or saxophone player who's had a decade to master his craft. Well.. It's not really comparable, clicking a mouse doesn't involve difficult finger placement. But what these guys do on a music level is just as impressive if not more.
