@@lepoisson He conducts what's in the score and nothing more. He has no interpretive skills whatsoever, including the music which he is supposedly known for. As Mahler said, "Music only begins with the notes", and that's about as far as Boulez gets. His performances are dead on arrival.
@@muslit Interesting, thank for elaborating. I would agree that he plays it very flat here, not allowing for the crucial violence (in Amériques especially) to shine through. Then again I have heard few conductors who can.
A @muslit, on ne joue pas Varèse comme du Schubert ou du Mahler. C'est une musique entièrement nouvelle tant dans sa conception que dans sa réalisation. Si vous n'avez pas compris cela, vous ètes toujours libre de ne pas écouter et de passer votre chemin.
@@franckmousset4022 Mais pour moi le résultat est toujours le même que la musique soit Boulez, Varèse, Schoenberg, Webern, Mahler, Schubert.... : mort à l'arrivée. Faire de la musique ne se limite pas à faire ce qui est sur la page. En tant que compositeur, Boulez est extrêmement limité, et sa direction d'orchestre encore plus.
