Gavin DeGraw clearly rips the strumming arrangements from this on his You Got Me track see th-cam.com/video/GK8Cfswie-M/w-d-xo.html. And as far as am aware this was released a bit before Gavin's plagiarism, but maybe someone else wrote the instrument part, either way he signed it off!
As a musician myself - I highly doubt Gavin DeGraw was sitting there in a studio maniacally rubbing his hands together whilst he stole a relatively simple strumming pattern from a 2009 bury tomorrow track, lol. Just a coincidence (and a loose one of that) Hell, most artists over the past 50+ years have reused the same 3 chord progression in the pop industry and nobody bats an eyelid.
