The best banana shot ever, in my opinion, isn't here. The famous Jimmy White banana shot where the cue ball stops in an instant. First time I saw it it looked supernatural.
@@god124812 Thanks for trying to help but you clearly don't know the shot I'm talking about. It's a banana shot but the cue ball, after hitting the cushion and bouncing off at high speed almost instantly stops. Similar to the Trump shot against Barry Hawkins, but even more amazing in my opinion.
Many thanks for this compilation, some of these shots I hadn't seen before, I'm sure it took a lot of research, even from qualifying matches. Well done mate!
Not really , With a certain of amount of training in competition you understand that this shot can actually be pulled off there is a degree of coolness to the shot, however i wouldn't call it MADNESS or NUTS
@@martinkuliza Madness is how i describe something i have never seen before and I have watched and played a lot of snooker. I have seen similar but not with so much white ball reaction it was NUTS look at Hawkins reaction and he is Ranked 9th in the world.
@@UKGBManny Fare enough i can respect all that, Only i don't see too much rarity here there are a few rarities but not much, the problem i have with this video is they are trying to depict as if the entire video is comprised of rare shots after this one i saw another it was something like most amazing pool shots ever and you see basic shit like someone doing a double off a cushion or snookering for position i guess it's you tube and they bullshit for the sake of comments and subs but all i'm saying is these video's overstate what is actually in the video
There is a fantastic shot by Alex Higgins to get out of a snooker. Swerves the cueball half the length of the table to hit the object ball directly. Can't seem to find it anymore. Glad to see Jimmy White in this compilation though. Thumbs up!
@2:53 i think is the best banana shot i've ever seen... because mostly we see a screw back making banana or cue ball follow up shot while it's going its natural top spin... but damn that was totally going bananas and nuts by jimmy white
In fact he did win 2 Majors: the Masters in 1984 plus the UK Championship in 1992. On the course of his career Jimmy has collected the trophies of 10 Ranking Events plus 14 Invitationals (Mark Selby for comparison: 20 + 4). He shouldn't be remembered just for losing his 6 World Championship finals -- it was a huge achievement reaching them in the first place!
2:54 The back to back Ted Lowe vs Virgo commentary comparison is stark. Few words across two shots from Ted, A billion words a second from JV. I know which I prefer.
idk if I'd call it rare it's just an effect that happens when you have top spin aka follow and you hit hard which makes the ball go off the tangent line more and the spin doesn't grab the cloth until further down the tangent line. I guess it's not common because you don't have to hit the ball that hard to get your leave all the time, and most of the time there's a better path to take from one object ball to another but sometimes it is needed. idk though it's just a shot that anyone could do with a little practice
I agree, These are not rare shots, sure they are cool and you do them when you must when you don't have an angle that you like, but certainly not rare I used to play competition, i was a B Grade Player Used to average 35 to 40 Points per shot i've commonly done these shots and i've seen other players commonly do them
They all great but always something a little extra when Jimmy does it so easy to forget how good he was in his pomp without him higgins O’Sullivan trump would struggle to be a tv sport
The ones where the ball is right in the jaws of the pocket don't impress me. I can do those and I barely know what I'm doing. The rest? Crazy enjoyable.
Ronnie doesn’t really do these type of shots ,he never has ,even in exhibitions of which he does plenty ,he’s all about knocking in big breaks and 147’s and playing pin point position.

That’s not a banana shot. More stun screw back.

Brilliant shots👏
Please do a compilation with masse shots!😁
8:36 This is nuts best of the lot for me the way he lines up once pulls back full power shot and ends up inch perfect on the brown madness.

Wasn't that Jimmy White masse shot?
Young Jimmy white Vs Judd trump would be such an entertaining game

Jimmy White was absolutely ahead of his time with some of the shots he played. Such a shame he never managed win any major titles.

Do some research
Amazing... I wonder if it really is the rarest, but either way such a great video!!!
compilation of Judd Trump's shots. The first time I have ever seen a snooker shot compilation without a single shot from Ronnie.
The rarest shot could be gun shot, since almost all major snooker tournaments happens in Europe.
these shots cant be that rare as there are so many of them !!
2:54 The back to back Ted Lowe vs Virgo commentary comparison is stark. Few words across two shots from Ted, A billion words a second from JV. I know which I prefer.
What about jimmy’s last pink and black in the 1984 Masters semi final against Kirk Stevens? Check that one out 😮
Can you please reupload a video which had a background music named "ALIGN - I'll Get There"
A banana shot compilation that doesn't include Jimmy Whites pink against Willie Thorne? tut tut and tsk

No one said it's hard. Just that it's rare in professional snooker
Try playing the one at 8:38 with "some practice"
Insane Potter judd ❤
Ohhh God , that on 7:31 by Drago is really violation of laws.
Trump and Hawkins laughing was quality
Great work
This Jimmy White guy..he is pretty good 😀
It's called rarest shots but most the clips are different players doing the same type of shot.
2:04 I need those tables in my life 😵🔴
I notice Judd Trump featuring quite often in this video. Why play a simple shot when you can play an exhibition shot? An awesome snooker player.
8:38
Notice how Trump is in half of the clips.. Love the guy and his playing style 💯❤️
Rarest shot ? I do this all the time. My highest break is 8 though.
I agree, These are not rare shots, sure they are cool and you do them when you must
when you don't have an angle that you like, but certainly not rare
I used to play competition, i was a B Grade Player Used to average 35 to 40 Points per shot
i've commonly done these shots and i've seen other players commonly do them
Thats 7 points higher than mine…
The ball is alive!!!
It used to be known as " screw, and side"
so rare the video is over 10 mins long and you came no where near to showing all of them
I was wondering what banana shots are, turn out they're force follow shots
Yeah. Follow shots where the topspin takes effect after hitting a cushion
Here is some trick shots❤
STUART BINGHAM IS THE GREATEST
Whats the shot called again...
Saging
Alex Higgins was the first to pull these shots off...
Back then the balls, cloth, atmosphere etc etc etc were awful compared to today
a peach of a banana
It's not rare, just lots of topspin over a distance and you'll get this effect every time, for close shots topspin plus side.
lol those are just top spin shot
you can easily do it in a clean table
A rare occasion Stephen Lee trying to win lol
I do it all the time... In 8 ball pool!!! 😂😂😂🎱🎱
Jimmy and Judd
Every other shot is Judds
Snookers definitely not a sport right it's a game of skill as you can see here
It's a sport for people who are too lazy for golf or bowling.
@8:39 ridiculous
"the rarest" lmfao
always Jimmy white
5:07 8:38
They all great but always something a little extra when Jimmy does it so easy to forget how good he was in his pomp without him higgins O’Sullivan trump would struggle to be a tv sport
I guess the best one is shot by jud trump at 8:36

Trump is real champion of such shots
They should rename it "a white trump" shot 😅
not "is" snooker....it's "in" snooker..😄
Great shot but a racist name for it
No Ronnie???Wtf...

Trump green to brown was impressive
