- Dive into Part 5 of our journey along the iconic Gibb River Road, covering over 1,000 kilometers of dirt roads and corrugations all the way up to Honeymoon Bay and McGowans Island Campground.
In this episode, we camped on the banks of the Pentecost River, which was in our opinion the best FREE camp actually on the Gibb River Rd! We camped here for 3 nights, using it as our base to fix our broken hub axle and explore El Questro's Zebedee Hot Springs and Emma Gorge.

WHO ARE WE:
We're Grant and Bianca - two travel enthusiasts who have been exploring and camping across Australia since 2017. Our dream was to caravan around Australia, and when Bianca was made redundant, we saw that as the perfect opportunity to pursue our dream.
In March 2021, we hit the road in our Ford F350 American 4x4 Truck, towing our 2003 Bushtracker Off-Road Caravan with our 2 Dogs Frank and Baxter.
After a year on the road, we realized that caravan life and road tripping were in our blood, and we decided to continue with our journey. We started this channel to document our travels and share the amazing places we've discovered, and the tips we've learned along the way, including the delicious meals we cook on the road, whether in the caravan or over a campfire.
Join us as we continue our journey through this incredible country and subscribe to our channel for the latest updates on our adventures and the joys of caravaning Australia!

I just want to thank you, plus other You Tube travellers I follow, as I can enjoy vicariously travels to places as a semi-disabled 75 year old that I could not do these days. The temporary fixes to your front hub is most impressive as you can still get through to safety, again, something beyond these old hands. Glad to be able to continue to dream and remember when I was more capable of adventuring.
Wow, thank you! We hope to bring you more adventures!😁🙏
Good Morning 😊 Awesome Mates , Gibbs done and dusted 👏🏼👏🏼 Greetings and Cheers 🍻 From South Africa 🇿🇦
Nothing like busting important stuff in the bush. That’s a good bush fix. As for ElQuestro, spectacular. Good onya guys 😊
I know right 😃
Looks amazing on our bucket list 2025
Definitely worth the trip
What a gr8 trip you are having
Look at you B! Fishing!!❤😂
I know who would have ever thought that would happen. Not me 🙋♀️
You can always go back to elquestro another time to do those tracks
Congratulations on finishing the Gibb
😁👍
Katrina here sorry for the dramas you've had.
I have had many models of that make and my life ambition is never to own that make again. 😅
Enjoying the journey and all the best with your vehicle.
Thanks Katrina, the dramas are starting to wear thin now 😌😃
Love the camp /swimming spots love the content greetings from South Africa
Thanks Shaun 😀
Another great video of the Gibb. Emma Gorge is spectacular, even us old farts made it through the rocks. Did you find the hot spring seeping in to the corner? It really compensated for the cold water. Hope that your mechanical issues are resolved.
Safe travels.
It was well worth the walk in. I e saw the hot springs on the side, but it had kids in there so we didn’t bother. Would have been nice 👍
Bush mechanics isn't fun, but at least you're still mobile. Well done doing the Gibb!
Cheers😁👍
Congrats on finishing the Gibb !!! What an amazing adventure, one to remember forever and lots of stories to tell 😊
So true!😁👍
I agree totally ,zebedee springs are next level…
Can’t really capture on film
The whole El Q is just magnificent!
We’ll definitely have to go back and see it all
just love the music you guys use for your video's, i've managed to download some of the same tracks and have installed onto my playlists on my phone. I've always wanted to visit El Questro, but so far haven't been able to get there.
it looks great. Hope you get the car fixed soon, and try not to let it spoil your adventures. Enjoy!
Awesome, thank you!
Great vid. Ya dont Have Time ?? What The ??
Nope, they basically closed down the gorges 2 days after we did Emma gorge as it was to hot 🥵 and we had a booking at Lake Argyle
Oh no you’ve had your fair share of dramas🤦🏼♀️
I’m hoping you’ll look back and chuckle at yr bad luck whilst basking in some good luck 🤞🏻 😊
🤞😃😝. It’s almost comical the amount of problems we’ve had.
Hey mate. Just wondering changing to the ford. And seeing the few issues you have with it. Would you still recommend getting one or properly buy a Nissan or Toyota? Something along those lines rather then a Import
Ah a loaded question!😉
Well, it depends!
If you intend on travelling like us, carrying a lot of weight. I couldn’t recommend an ftruck highly enough despite the issues!
If you’re planning to do smaller stints with less weight then you really can’t beat a cruiser, if money’s an issue then the patrol is pretty unbeatable for its price range
Thanks mate! Always good hearing a bit of feedback regarding a Ford 🤟🤟
