I feel I’m expected to always be the entertainment or shady, and I’m treated less than a man. Also people feel like your hiding and they should know your sexuality, and a few people have mistreated me because they felt I should be loud and gay. I’m not sure what the laws are in your state. But where I live it is illegal to discriminate against gays. You owe it to yourself to be honest and speak your truth. If people have a problem then you know that you should be around that person anyway because ultimately you will have to put on an act around them or just not speak your authentic truth around them. Whatever makes you happy, but being gay should be celebrated. The more people speak up about sexuality the more normal gays, bisexuals and everything in between becomes normalised.
