- This one, sung by Mr. Arany Zoltán and uploaded by us with his permission, is a Spanish villancico from the 15th Century, and is about a kingfisher (type of bird) who describes the events surrounding the Nativity.
This year many of us lost many things, and many people. Some of us succeeded, some of us failed. Some of us didn't make it, some did.
Take a moment to thank God for allowing you to reach this far, and pray for the souls of those who left us, which we hope are now in His presence.
And if you have a minute, please say a Hail Mary for the soul of my father. Thank you.

To me Medieval spanish is closer to french than today. It's really similar to medieval french.

For all the art lovers interested in the image, The main figures is a cropped version of the Two trinities of the painter B.E. Murillo of the 1600s and the background cross is the Victory Cross of Asturias of the 900s, a spanish national symbol of the resistance against the moors. Thanks for the awesome "villancico".

Spanish history, culture and even language can only be comprehended within catholicism. We Spaniards should defend our culture and country through Christ.
Never forget our country was born from soldiers that prayed the rosary before battle, the Saints themselves came down from heaven to help our kings in battle against the moors during the Reconquista, we evangelize half of the world with the help of Saint Mary, for example, our lady of Guadalupe , who her self appeared to convert the indians in Mexico.
I feel proud with every cell of my body for being spanish with everything that means. I'm the consequence of centuries of history of my country, we all are, and I feel the moral obligation to preserve and defend what my ancestors and brothers built.
