- Keeping a knife razor sharp out in the field doesn't have to be complicated and you don't have to carry around any kind of fancy knife sharpener. You can simply use the window of your car or truck to keep hone the edge and keep it sharp!

It's works for me! I have used my truck window for a few years to hone my knife when I'm out somewhere.
Cool.
I picked that one up from a old man at our first hunting club. Works great and I wish I would've listened to more of what the old timers had to say.
Inmates are always sharpening knifes on the concrete floor but I don't think they get the edge you are getting with the glass. lol This is really cool had not ever seen this before will come in handy.

Great tip Daniel! I know about using the window for sharpening a blade but I carry a diamond rod in my overall pockets. It is like my handgun, ferro rods and swiss army knife going anyplace I go.lol Phil
