Ok so hear me out. In the earlier episodes of Frenemies, whenever Trisha would try to touch Ethan, he would always flinch and have a physical reaction. He'd also say stuff like 'ew don't touch me.' In the episode when she went to touch his collar he didn't have any reaction at all.
Their relationship has grown so much it's crazy. Okay that's all!
He even leaned towards her to allow her a closer look. GROWTH!
they definitely hashed things out for the better. THANK GOD
It kinda reminds me of my relationship with my younger sister lol. Though, I was like 12 when I had the disgusted reaction and matured much younger.

Ethan is truly showing her, as someone with BPD who struggles with friendships, that you can disagree and argue but STILL work it out and move past it, especially among all the other things going on with her and what she's struggling with. Hes literally teaching her that it doesn't have to be dramatic or scary or just cut them off. Hes shown her that even though they've disagreed and had tension. My husband was the one to be my Ethan, the one that showed me that arguing does NOT mean that its all over and everything is destroyed and dramatic. He taught me independence in my own emotions, he helped me understand how to navigate through difficult experiences in friendshis and relationships.
I have BPD as well, and I love that this kind of friendship can finally be seen on such a big platform, it really helps show the different sides of mental illness.
Though I have to admit, I would have never thought Ethan from H3H3 and Trisha Paytas would one day be a positive source of BPD representation haha

Honestly at this point Ethan and Trisha are for sure more friends than enemies. I mean they have their fights but after seeing Ethan and Hila immediately defend Trisha with the hairdresser situation and her being so excited to see them in this podcast I think she really loves them. They are honestly probably the only friends she has that is also a TH-camr but isn’t totally fake with her
I honestly wish nothing but the best for this whole family. Trish may have been controversial in the past but watching her on these streams has made me see her in a more positive light 💙

This show was a great idea for ethan and trish to collaborate on. not only does it highlight the pain and insecurities people with disorders can go through (trisha and ethan on this) it shows viewers that on first interaction/meeting you may have a negative opinion on someone- but once you get to know them you learn their history, internal demons, likes, dislikes, true personality, triggers, etc. i think we all can learn a lesson from this podcast. i am able to see past trishas treatment of hila and ethan and sometimes other members of the team because of what shes been through and how she perceives the dynamic. im really hoping to see more and more of this style of content. intense drama between the two is DEFINITELY not needed to make the podcast interesting to watch. debate, suspense, comedy. all of it was incredible to watch here. and ethan DAMN the tux is SLAMMMIN. keep it up, proud of you
I'm clapping while reading this! You truly understand human connections. The imperfection of humans and yet the beauty of the imperfection and the connections that can form through pain, trauma, insecurities, disorders, etc. This type of content really teaches people how to build true relationships. Not these fake influencers. This is real shit, messy and all, take all of it, the ups and downs, the good the bad, the harsh truths and the brave humility to admit them. To make it through all of that has built a stronger, realer bond that has given the bond the strength to handle stress, the patience and willingness to make it through until things settle, the care to put in effort so things can be mended. You learn the love and connection runs deeper then a shallow bond some others have based solely off external image crap. This content is real shit, teaching us all about human psychology. I relate and have alot of compassion for Trisha because i too struggled with substance use when i was young and now almost 8 years since those times in my life, with all that distance from those times, and other life trauma, it really allows you to gain a whole new perspective on life so you can almost find a way to turn the trauma into good or motivation or appreciation, its strange. Really tho if you can convert negativity into motivation for creativity then you are set, fuel for creating art, music, to drive you to not over look or take things for granted anymore, it can really make you see the beauty in the world and in people.
@@benjamin5026 thank you so much, i love that other people can see through the external experience into the more philosophical, internal one. there is a lesson in everything- however there are SO many to be learned on this podcast and in your comment. ive been the angry, insecure girl trisha (was/is?) inside. i commend your growth from your hardships and i appreciate you sharing that with us. my parents struggle with substance abuse and emotional instability and i truly do have empathy for the terrors of trishas experience and all others who have walked the same path. i do believe that overcoming obstacles and trauma have morphed my perspective on just about everything in life: relationships, opportunities, destinations, goals, boundaries, etc. it teaches you to be thankful for the next day after you’ve encountered what seems like the worst time of your life and every day after it. its refreshing to see something created that isnt edited to appease a certain audience. i truly think that ethan, hila, dan, ian, ab, and zach are finding a niche on this platform that connects their previous content with their current and is fun to watch. thank you so much for your reply

Ethan really did genuinely love Trisha as a friend/family. So sad. His love for her blinded him a little. He totally believed everything she claimed. Because he didn’t want to believe that someone he loved could lie about something as serious as SA. Ethan really IS sensitive and his heart is sweet and good. Even if he hides some of it under humor.
so many people still say they are the same person and that he was a villain in disguise but really i think he was just blinded as well.. he wanted so badly to trust her and be a family with her, hila and moses.😔
