I got the Whisk footwork now! It is ball-flat, ball, ball-flat, and you repeat that 3 step footwork process on the other foot.
Also - in the basic-level Reverse Turn - it is all right to incline your body just a little bit in the turn, but don't incline too much or it would be out of syllabus (it would be called a Reverse Barrel Roll instead).

@@user-mq9iq7bx8o alignment in samba basic is same as moving direction except when you are closing feet you are staying on spot (moving described as "under body").

People just turn in the direction of LOD, right?
@@user-mq9iq7bx8o generally samba should move around dance floor. But each figure will have own moving direction depending on routine.

If you need to dance samba , then I see no ather way than you learn basic steps like Whisk and Reverse Bsic Movement. Then combine them by dancing each figure 2 or 4 times and it would become "your own samba routine'. How can I help you?

Whisk to Left 1a2, Whisk to Rignt 3a4, Reverse Basic Movement 5a6 7a8;
Whisk to Left 1a2, Whisk to Right turned to PP (Promenade Position) 3a4,
Promenade Samba Walks 5a6 7a8.
