- I made a simple video explaining how I installed the Ebay Front Lip Spoiler on my NC MX-5 Miata. This lip is for the NC1 2006, 2007, 2008. It will not fit the NC2 or NC3 09-15.
Please ask any questions in the comments.
I shot it in 720 to make it easy to load. I tried to keep the "fluff" down and just show what I thought would be helpful. Please let me know if I went too fast. I'd like to do more tutorial videos with no fluff.
Here's a link to the ebay site that I got it from. I don't get paid by this site, I just wanted to help yall out. www.ebay.com/i...
Best install video for this lip so far. Everyone else drills two new holes in the fender area and does not re-use that lower factory clip. The lip has a larger bottom hole on it for that factory clip. As far as the brackets go. You did it right to use the two existing screws under the car and drill two new holes in the lip because the two existing holes in the lip DONT line up. Most people just drill two new holes in the lip AND the car and put the brackets close together up front which is wrong. So to conclude you put this lip on the car correctly and only drilled the holes in each fender area. You decided to use two on each fender but I got away with just one upper screw on each fender. If I dont need to drill extra holes in the car I am not gonna do it. Once again great video.
Thank ya! Great points! Feedback is much appreciated.
It didn't last 3 months. LOL A big dip in a parking lot took it out. The hole was full of water on a cold rainy night. It cracked in half. I don't know if I'll replace it again for a while.
thats a shame. I was thinking on getting one of these for my 08
@@elstukov I am still unsure if I'll replace it. I probably will just because I like the look. But, the roads/parking lots around here are so bad, it's like pissing $150 away each time. I just 2.5 swapped it, so what's another buck fitty! LOL. When it's cold, they become very brittle. It cracked straight in half. I tried to "plastic weld" it back together but it didn't work. The plastic just mushed up and wouldn't stick to itself. Bummer.
