This review is misleading - this s pen doesnt have air gestures or Bluetooth or battery, you dont need to charge it, it is made purely for drawing with better tilt sensitivity and better grip for longer drawing sessions for devices supporting spen (not z fold) also about tip changing accessory - there is no proper instruction how to use it but basically you have to plunge it, just push pen straight in 90° angle, don't tilt it as this will break the tip

Received mine... and it is not working. Just hovering it 1cm above my Galaxy 9 Ultra or my Kindle Scribe triggered drawing. Needless to say, it made it completely unusable. Changing the tip didn't change anything. Apparently I'm not the only one to whom it happened. Returning it.

@Jacobgda the one I received is broken. It starts drawing when the tip is 1cm ABOVE the surface.
I just now got the stable version of ui6 with version. Scared me... changed settings, and it was all dark background on lock screen... figured it out... lol, now I love it

To resolve the S Pen hovering issue, you need to remove the tip and then reinsert it. However, be cautious as the tip remover might not work effectively. In my case, I had to use a knife. Good luck!

Jeff I finally got one ui 6 but a lot of people in Samsung members say it's a lot of bugs should I download it or should I wait
I mean I haven't had any bugs that make it hard to use

I updated to one ui 6.0 recently and it is the worst decision of my life.
1:Now i can't customize anything from good lock when using a colour pallete.
2:My phone animations became slow and laggy.

I just got the one ui 6 stable update on my galaxy s22 ultra at&t model yesterday

I know this has been asked alot, but cannot find the comment. What is the kwgt widget for the day to look like that?
8:40 i mean.. the spen that comes with the tablet has a small nib and then the housing lifts the nib off and away from the tablet's surface the more you tilt it horizontally ... so ofc isn't going to lose contact, right? and it won't be able to be used in the way that you're trying to? am i wrong? the creator pen doesn't have this issue where the housing of the pen lifts the tip away from the surface of the display.. bc the tip is completely different. so hor shading with the creator pen should not be an issue.
personally, i think everyone should get the wacom one pen... got it for like $20 from amazon warehouse and it was new/return. amazing value and works better than the spen that came with my s9ultra. i do pref the type of tip (apple's style) that the spen creator has tho... so it's sad to see it so overpriced.

The spen you can buy seperately ,how wouod you charge that?
S Pens are not like Apple pencils or 3rd party ones, they don't need charge to work. Some models do need charging to use what's called "Air Actions" which allow the pen to be used as a remote for the device in question. The creator's edition doesn't not have Bluetooth so it doesn't support Air Actions BUT it works with any device that allows Spen support minus the Z series because the Z series needs a certain tip for the panel they use!

If not for air gestures who use Bluetooth, spen doesn't need to charge for be used in the common way, they're using Wacom EMR technology who is battery free. Also the Creator pen doesn't have air gestures so no charging required😊
