I definitely agree that Godzilla minus one set the bar for these movies. The monster fights in here are great and you make a fantastic point about the scale of these monsters compared to the humans is done in a great way :-)
I’ll be honest with this movie it’s hard to compare with the masterpiece of Minus One with this one turning into a power rangers megazord battle which I did have a good time with it but can def see where your coming from great review man
This seems to just be another decent Godzilla movie, not great but not awful! I’ll still check it out as I love me some monster action! I find it weird that there are 2 films coming out in the same month with Empire in the title!😂

It was going to be virtually impossible following Minus One, but I did enjoy this one. It was a fun popcorn flick 🙂

Both movies are in different genres so comparing them is like comparing the earth with the sun
