THIS, this right here is what the gaming community needs more of. Too many toxic players out there. Gamers have become too competitive, myself included depending on the game.

See, I can understand some toxicity in competitive games. However I think people should only get that way when they’re playing the ranked version of said games. What I find astonishing is the sheer level of anger, toxicity, and outright hatred that people manifest in casual game modes. Like... you guys/gals aren’t esport champions, and even if you were, you’d keep that shit to ranked where it matters. I swear some of these people could sit down and turn playing with legos into a shouting match filled with f bombs and racist slurs.
Honestly i hope there is a part 2 coming, even though i dont play i watched so many videos to know what to do and watching these people gave me a good laugh.

I'm new to rust console but I've been playing since launch so I got everything down and just recently ran into a player like these guys and I've been helping him out. Its cool to see u being cool and nice to these guys instead of just trolling them cuz I bet they had the greatest time learning the game man, this is what we need more of in the gaming community

I've got 3k hours, and with the amount of new players joining, I've been playing on a lot of official servers trying to help out as many noobs as I can, some have already turned to the dark side and can't trust anyone which sucks, but thanks for doing this Oblivion!

Made me sad there in the end. You watching them logoff with Dev1ce knowing that's the last time he'll ever see you in game. Was particularly sad when you said "They're all gone" as you you did the last touches to make sure they knew their code. Very heartwarming content. Never thought a Rust Video would make me sad.

Really good video. I'm in my 60's and games like this have become difficult for me as I've aged. I bought the game over 1 year ago and have struggled to get very far in the game. I think if I had someone that had done this for me I would be playing it with a couple of my M8's. Instead I just get frustrated and don't try again for months at a time. Helping new players is fun to me. In the 9k total hours I've played Rust (Including Legacy), I've helped out hundreds of players learn the game. Some of which, turned out to be incredible at the game. ☺
I finally bought Rust about a month or so ago. From watching you and Wilsonator videos I learnt what I had and needed to do. Found a noob server where you can’t kill or raid and just have fun building bases and gathering stuff. I tried the normal game and felt like a boss when I killed someone sleeping on a road with a rock then got yeeted to the pits of hell 🤣
