IMAGINE playing Trespasser with Solas in your party. Amazing. Seriously, though, I love that you explained everything that was happening as it’s my first time watching a speedrun of this game.
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed!!! That last cutscene with Solas in Trespasser is great if you play through with him, I always make him wear The Skin That Stalks armor for our conversation lol :)
Update: All Dragons didn't make it in, but Any% did!! Make sure to tune in to SGDQ on July 4th to catch Lemuura's DA:I - Any% run as the very first run of the marathon!! I'll be providing commentary for the run, so make sure to stop by!! :D
I'm a huge dragon age fan and i've only completed 1 full playthrough of DAI but I missed one dragon. The hivernal dragon. Thank you for showing me where it's at and decimating all of the dragons along the way to it. Hope you get to SGDQ, friend. If you make it, i'll definitely watch your run, this was awesome.
I’m rewatching this and I just realized I probably invested a lot more in crit damage than crit chance. I think my crit chance must be high anyway. I’m feeling kinda dumb right now. Still great video LMAO
The focus glitch works best if you use the Bow ability "Full Draw" and then use your Focus ability right after it shoots, but don't spam the button or it might use all your focus. You'll know it worked if you didn't lose any focus when you cast the ability. I'd recommend playing a Rogue if you want to use this a lot. I tested it quick on the Xbox version of the game, so it should work fine on PS4 with some practice on the timing. For the map glitch you'll need to enter combat and walk onto a world map trigger, it should say "You cannot leave during combat", then save and load the game while standing on that trigger and then the world map should automatically open. On Xbox, I was only able to move the cursor on the map for a few seconds at a time after opening and closing the wheel menu with the Left Shoulder button on my controller. Toggle that menu open/close and then move the cursor right after it closes, hopefully that works for you!! :) Best of luck!!
Not that we’re aware of unfortunately. You’d have to unlock Skyhold the normal way by progressing the story to fix it, otherwise it’ll stay dark and broken.
Hello, not sure you’ll see this.. but I love your speed runs and I was wondering if there is a way to get this strong in the base game? I’ve played a long time and can’t seem to find op gear.. thanks
HEY THANKS!!! Honestly, your best bet for OP gear is just crafting it using materials that give the most crit chance, crit damage, and flat health. For instance, base game Varric we craft gear with Great Bear Hide (for crit attributes) and Dawnstone (for health attributes). There are definitely some good non-DLC weapons and armor you can use, a lot of which are level-locked, but mostly are just the fun Purple weapons/armor. Accessory wise, you'll want Belts of Health and most of the dragons drop good amulets and gear. Crafted gear just ends up being way better stats wise, you can really customize them for crit, flat attack, or defense if wanted. Some other stuff can just be the skills and passives that you use, same with specializations. There are some really strong passives for either damage or defense that really make a difference. Like Bear Mauls the Wolves is really strong for warriors and then any involving crit as well. Hopefully that helps even a little bit 🙌 I'm definitely interested in attempting some No-Crafting playthroughs to see what we could use as we level, but haven't really experimented with that a lot yet unfortunately.
I couldn’t do the glitch where you get the gold in trespasser, so I progressed the story until I could get it normally, and then returned. Which also means I still have the anchor discharge ability :D
For using the chest to dupe, you'll want to take the item and hit Escape at the same time. You can use either Spacebar, Enter, or Clicking to take the item and then just hit Escape at the same time. Then open the chest again with your activate button, which I have on my 'F' key and repeat the process. Might just take some practice to get the timing right. Also, feel free to mess with your keybinds if you have a key closer to Escape you want to use instead. If you're using a controller, you can just press A+B or X+O I think and it works the same. 👍 Note: Duping too fast sometimes crashes my game 😂so save often!!
Yep!! For the map glitch to work you'll need to enter combat and walk onto a world map trigger, it should say "You cannot leave during combat", then save and load the game while standing on that trigger and then the world map should automatically open. UPDATE ON THIS, if you travel to skyhold before choosing between mages and templars for the alliance the last mission would never appear so if you’re using any of these glitches to run through the game, I recommend either traveling to skyhold once the mission right BEFORE unlocking skyhold is available OR unlocking skyhold legitimately :)
@@zoid8077 yep!! haha the main story quests have some hoops to jump through, if you watch one of Lemuura's DA:I Any% speedruns you can see the way to do that using those glitches, but after the Corypheus fight you're stuck in the dark rubble version of Skyhold. If you actually want to finish the story and do everything, you're right, it's best to unlock Skyhold normally. We've also been working on a run that does all of the main story quests, that way we can get to Skyhold normally. Might be a good guide for doing the game normally, but still fast
Yeah that's the right idea!! When you're jumping off, try to get as far away from the ruins as you can. Then when you pause, you want to save and load the game. When you load back in, pause again and open the map. If you got far enough away from the ruins, the world map should open and allow you to fast travel to any of the locations you have unlocked in the base game. Hope that helps!!

If you just jump in place, it will take you straight up or straight down depending on when you entered tactical cam. Hope this helped!! 😁 Good luck!!
Are the other classes animation cancels with their weapons good as well like more damage? Because it doesn’t seem like it. I was wondering why you picked heavy sword over the other ones.
We mainly choose warrior for the abilities you get. However, warrior by far has the best cancels with both the two handed weapons and sword + shield, we start as two handed over shield just because the damage is higher for the prologue fights. Mages have good cancels as well, usually shoot 3 times with staff and then cancel. Let's you keep the quicker shots going. The cancels don't really help rogues at all though unfortunately. If you ever play the multiplayer, do the cancels with the keybind for Sprint. You can do the cancels a lot quicker, allowing you to get much higher DPS or stack Guard fast with some of the on-hit effects.
@@ty3474 oh gotcha!! haha yeah exactly, there are some weapons that will give you some of that extra armor each time you hit an enemy, those effects work really well with the cancels because of the increased attack speed

LUL yeah, just the base game high dragons that count toward the Dragon Hunter achievement. Only problem with actual ALL dragons is that the quickest way to access the Red Lyrium dragon softlocks the game after the Corypheus fight, so you would need to get that one last in the run after the poison dragon in Trespasser DLC which I haven't found a way to get and then go back to base game. If you want to get to Red Lyrium without the softlock you would need to play through most of the main quest normally lmao, would have plenty of Power for it though.
The red lyrium and trespasser dragons don't count, but Hakkon Wintersbreath counts towards the achievement, so there's actually 11 dragons that count towards the 10/10 achievement.
