Need to de-silence the turbos - let them sing. If it sounded like a jet airplane people would get excited - embrace the turbines!

      How do you de-silence them?

Well, there is only so much you can do with a turbo since the Turbine silences a LOT of the noise just by itself, but it's still always fun straight piping a separate wastegate dump and exhaust.

Carven exhaust is a decent bit louder and has that nice fuel rich crackle in high rpms and slowing to a stop when downshifting. Would reccomend

Sounds like trash IMO, i accept the new engine though since mpg is improved and hp and torque.... as long as it'll stand the test of time like the 5.7 did, but nothing has a sound like a true v8

Just got my 2022 TRD Pro. So it’s hybrid. I agree with everything you said. I embraced the benefits but accept the loss of sound.

The electronic parking brake releasing is louder than the exhaust.

Just got a 23. Thing is easily 10x quieter than my 17 Taco Turd Pro knockoff (had the Fox's on it from a buddies Pro on an OR and the TRD exhaust).
It's total stealth and it's sorta awful. When it's in the electric only in Eco it's awesome seeing a big ass truck in stealth mode, but when the TT v6 is going, it shouldnt be silent - wife has a cayenne S, also a TT V6 and it sounds about 10000000x better than the Tund'r.
It's nice as hell, but I sorta miss my Taco for several reasons.
Come to think of it, I'll have to post an exhaust comparison - Cayenne vs. Tund'r vs. GT4 vs Taco. It's wild.

@@mitchplanko4934 I get about 16-17 around town and 20-22 on the highway doing 65-75 with the non-hybrid. I’ve always liked Tundras. I held off for the last few years to buy one waiting for this new model. ‘22 Platinum with 8k miles on the ODO now. Only issue I had was the wonky trim on the rear windows, otherwise I couldn’t be happier
