I first heard this song at my sister's graduation from Wheaton College. It brought me to tears. I was struggling with understanding what God had in store for my future. But this song touched my heart and reminded me that He is holding me fast.
So beautiful seeing all the hope we have here in these young people! God bless each one of you. Wishing you God’s love, health and healing in the new year✝️
@NF Obsessed Sure. This is my very favorite hymn. Don't you WONDER, at what point when we make CONTACT with God, whether, how and when He deems us, "worth saving"? I do. Don't we have to sacrifice something, as He did? What would that be?
God bless you all, young men abd young women! Stay close to the Lord. Greetings from Norway.🇧🇻

This is a lovely song; but I believe it is presuming a great deal about what God is responsible for..

The hymn starts about 1.30 seconds.

It was written in 1906 by Mrs Ada Habershon.
