Legion follows the story of “David Haller,” a man who discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. Moments like this make you wish there was another season but the whole thing has been a masterpiece. Some of the best acting I have seen combined with a plot that keeps your eyes glued to the screen. They pulled off having multiple versions of the same person so well normally you can tell it is very faked.
That was the creepiest moment of the show!!! Also, one of the best!!! It really highlighted how dark David's mind really is and how many alternate personalities he has. I'm glad I watched it again because I did not realize that Syd's personality was basically absorbed by David since he didn't let her go back into her body. WEIRD!!!
and now he has her powers too due to her being inside of him so he can now capture anyones mind and their powers like in the comics

MissLeopard28 and I thought the baby scene when Farouk is messing with David’s mom’s mind was fucked!!
I seriously hope this show ends with David/Legion being victorious. Any other conclusion would be a huge letdown.

I'm so glad you showed us this specific scene. It didn't really dawn on me on how they overwhelmed her mind like that and thats how they overcame her power. Pretty brilliant. Plus, it helped set up the episode that was coming up next - which mostly took place on the astral plane.

I love when David shows off his powers. One of the best moments in the show
This is how he does it. This is how he'll now be able to steal souls and gain more powers. He already has Sid's mind inside him and, using her power, be able to take other people's mutant powers.

He never took anyone's powers. He already can do anything except time travel because his power is "manipulation of reality". Hence - "god".

The cinematography is just mesmerizing in this show
for some reason, I thought (at the moment this scene aired) this moment would lead to david, while in syd's body, having a moment of lucidity and realizing the others were right and he became a monster, but his alternate personas, would rebel against him, imprison him inside their own collective mind and tell him "don't worry. everything will go according to plan" and then resume their plan to kill farouk in the past.... but implying they will go off rails to and do whatever they want to accomplish their goal of "having a happy life"
David's a good person. He deserves love.
He is the right one.
Today is the second anniversary of the ending of the Marvel show set in an alternate universe within the FXU "Legion".
This is what Syd failed to realize David was the one controlling (or at least attempting to control) the other personalities in his head in the comics you kill David his body does not die another personality takes control and so on and so on the only way to kill him is kill every personality in the show they sort of touched on this when another personality took control after David was moved to her body.

Farouk manipulated her, as he did to all of David’s malleable, weak-minded “friends.”
The thing is, if they had not all turned on David and betrayed him, the inevitable ending of him destroying the world simply trying to get them to understand that he was never the real monster would never have happened.
It’s a cause and effect loop.
100% from season 2 she got annoying and worst in season 3.
This series exceled and exceeded all expectations of mine.

I wonder what would have happen to all those personalities inside David's head if she had killed his body, as well as David who was inside her body, having no body to go back to..to the Astral plane probably since he has access to it and is such a powerful mutant, or he could have just stayed in her body, having no body to go back to. That was dumb of her she could have just killed herself.
Maybe she was thinking "the body is where his powers are" and as long as they got rid of if, it would be fine....
And who knows what would have happened. Given Farouk still managed to have SOME powers despite becoming basically a demon that possessed others during seasons 1 and 2

Interesting aspects of plot is fact, that when Sid learns about whole future, David is described as the Legion, world killer. Together with this scene, where The Legion act independently and without David and later scene, in past, where The Legion put David to sleep during conversation, it describe what happened in first timeline. After season one, David and reast all with division three to destroy shadow king. David creates plan similar to what we seen and kill him. Them, after some time, the Legion takes over and start control David completely and destroy world. Reason is unknown, fear, betrayal or simply time. Important point is, from moment Shadow King lost control over David and couldn't keep illusion, that he is just crazy and nothing more, David was ticking bomb. David realize it too, in some form, and wants to make sure, bomb is never made in first place/he never became insane or is in better state at least, not after having parasite in his head whole life. And Sid probably realize whole situation too, in this moment.

@Mr7Reality i kinda wish he had showed a moment of lucidity and was even scared of his own body and face and the others calling himself Legion
That’s a fraction of him. He couldn’t function properly without the rest, especially when the swap was involuntary and sudden.
What Syd failed to account for was how _vast_ Legion truly was. Shifting his “primary” personality into her own mind so her singular self could be in his was the worst- and last -miscalculation she’d ever made.

It was more of an FX cable channel production and afterwards Disney purchased Marvel they have nothing to do with this masterpiece

Why does this show have so many hindu symbolism??
It’s kind of how he saw himself as and in a way believed in. I searched and in Hinduism There are many deities, gods/goddesses that are worshipped and it “emphasizes freedom from the material world through purification of desires and elimination of personal identity. ‘Hindus believe that each person is intrinsically divine and the purpose of life is to seek and realize the divinity within all of us”(yeah yeah I know I quoted I didn’t know how to sum it up 😅)
