The blue sky, the lagoon, the sunset... Everything is so unique and beautiful over there... Your video brings me back to my old time(just a few months ago) 😭
Go check out the Sands Beach at the west campus... That's where u can find the best view of the sunset! If u wanna discover around, there is another beach featured in one of the Apple's Mac Operating System name called El Capitan(15min drive from campus)... Very nice sands over there
@@steveshao7309 I will visit Sands sometime soon hopefully !! Thank you for all the SB recommendations 😊 If you have any restaurants in Downtown or IV, I’d appreciate those too! :)
@@lizfujiwara Depending on your preference, and most importantly, budget, cuz it can be very expensive in Santa Barbara. My must-go choice is Nikka Ramen, and I just can't forget their broth cuz it just so goooooood. I always went there when it get a bit colder! Also just my personal opinion, but I think Nikka is better than sb craft ramen near the state street. Saigon has some of the best Pho in town, Meun Fan has pretty decent Thai food, and Lily is also a very good taco option with relatively low price! In terms of Indian curry, Naan Stop is a decent option to me, consider I have tried some even better curry in Singapore haha. I like the brunch options at Cajun(near target), and also the boat sushi set at sushi ai at Camino market place if there are a lot of people eating together. For a bit pricier options, uniboil is probably the only place where u can get small hotpot, and Meet Up(Chinese cuisine) near Las Positas highway exit is my go-to with my friend! Mandarin Palace is also good option but it is like the same price range as Meet Up. Other similar option includes Su's Bowl in IV! In addition, Madam Lu has Chinese food buffet! There is a KBBQ place called Kimchi KBBQ(on the state street near Chinese church), but I would rather go to Gen KBBQ in Ventura as their quality is better. I do like the Ginseng Chicken Soup at Choi's Oriental Market(yes it is a grocery store and a restaurant)! Once you hit the state street, everything goes to another level. Some restaurant that I tried before includes Mizza, Opal, Bouchon, Secret Bao, Ca'Dario and Stella Mare's. They are pretty good, but extra budget need to be allocated. In terms of Cafe, my go-to is always Dune. They are probably the best cafe in terms of brewing and coffee bean quality. Everybody is talking about Hochaya, and it's good in Santa Barbara but can't compare with LA/SF Boba. There are some Asian Groceries in town, including Indo China, Oriental Market, and Choi's. But I would go fo Weee(www.sayweee.com/en)for Asian Groceries as they have way bigger variety.
@@steveshao7309 WOW thank you so so much for all of these !! Me and my roommates were talking about Pho haha it is definitely a current craving. The only issue for now is that we have to Uber everywhere haha but I will try Saigon sometime soon and let you know my opinions :) I think Jacob from AACF also recommended Nikka! Sadly, I am vegetarian now but I used to absolutely love Gen Kbbq as well. Choi’s sounds very interesting, I heard they have Korean food there so it’s on my list as well 😊 I will try all of these before I graduate or sooner LOL thanks to you, I know the good ones now! Thanks again!! 😊😊
GIRLLLL week 1 isn't even over and you've already got one-handed biking down i am SO impressed, also the end is so sweet i'm so happy you like it here 🥹💚
