    What does ASMR stand for? Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
    What is ASMR? To me, it's a really cool sensation that some of us get in response to some auditory (sound - whispers, tapping, hand sounds) or visual triggers (hand movements, watching someone focus, draw, paint, etc. or personal attention). For some it's a tingling or vibrating feeling often felt in the head, neck, shoulders, and/or back, and can change based on different triggers. It can feel like a tingly scalp massage or just a relaxing feeling all over.
    For people who don't experience the ASMR tingles, these videos can still be helpful to destress, relax, or as a sleep aid.

      I agree. Sometimes over explaining videos can be too fast or aggressive. I think that just kind of happens naturally when over explaining
      But this one is the perfect speed.

      Awww, thanks so much, Alexandra! I always go back and forth between thinking I should just keep trying new things or try to narrow it down and stick to just a few types.

    I fell asleep before I could comment, lol, but I wanted to say when I was a little girl growing up in NJ, they used to call sprinkles “jimmies” (awesome video) 🥰

    • @ASMRSoundWaves
      @ASMRSoundWaves  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh, interesting! Google is going to start giving me ads for sprinkles, I've googled this so many times now!! 😆 It seems that "jimmies" is a New England thing, so I guess it made it's way over to NJ! My family is originally from NY and we are definitely a "sprinkles" family. Words are weird! :)

    17:00 you know what is interesting to me? That description of bark reminds me of onions. The peel is the same ingredient as the layers inside. But we take the outer layers off of both onions and trees.. when we can make stock from both…
