The fuel dump and burn feature was implemented for safety purposes. It decreases weight in emergency landing situations to protect both the pilot and aircraft.
Great tutorial! Though F-111's pretty much never ever ran external tanks on the inner two pivot pylons because if they were separated from the aircraft they would almost certainly always contact the rear slab of the airframe. External tanks were always carried on the fixed pylons, meaning wing sweep also had to be locked at 26° In saying that it was very rare for an F-111 to ever need external tanks in the first place.
Good stuff right there. I used to watch the aardvark fly and take off over Lake Champlain way back when Plattsburgh AFB was a pretty important north east SAC installation. I've tried to fly it a little in msfs, a bit dauntng tbh. All these crazy analog gauges..
Looks great but hoping for third party site for weapons display like the one from FSX. I take a lot of screen shots and would like to display the weapons during the shots.
Thank you for the videos, when will this be released outside of the in sim market with the full weapons available. I am waiting on purchasing that version. Looking forward to you response.
Are you going to fix the flight dynamics? Your add-on flys worse than default Cessna. And please fix rudder pedals animation in cockpit. It's inversed now.
Agreed, they have obviously put so much work into this, incredibly detailed and systems modelled, but the flight model seems to need a little bit more effort.
I just bought this, it's beautifully detailed, all switches and gauges are modelled. Not sure about the flight model but it's a cool experience to fly.

Thanks so much for this video! You should change the title to Autopilot and Navigation Tutorial. Cheers!

When is the next tutorial promised in this video coming? :)

When is the next update? ...is it true that you are trying to integrate the TFR?

No stress damage? I have oversped and pulled Gs and never got the overstress damage

Me too! And I hope that will fix the fly dynamics
So do I. Don't buy such unfinished bird.

Don't waste your money on this!
