Abandoned 1920's movie theater-Insanely expensive items left behind

- I was lucky enough to drive through this small town in the middle of central Illinois, when I happened upon this awesome theater built in the early 20's. Got through every room and made some neat finds.

Abandoned theaters, abandoned bowling alleys, abandond houses, I ❤ them all. Never hav seen an abandoned theater with the seats gone, sad to see places like this in this state.😓

An abandoned bowling alley! That's a good one to look for! Putting that on my list. It's sad to see, but I love being able to live in that moment for a little bit. Thinking of all the people passing through. Hopefully they turn this one around.
@@grimstravels3416 You should see if you can find one, me and Madeline look at all kinds of different abandoned Buildings on here, abandond bowling alleys, abandoned theaters, abandoned gentlemans clubs, you name it, lol🤣Yes, it is sad to see. Maybe they wil turn it around, with luck🤗

Looks like some restoration work for sure.
That's the feeling I got when I saw all the stuff in the beginning. So I'm really hoping so. But if you remember my abandoned IT building video, it looked like they were renovating it. I passed it yesterday and it was completely tore down. I'm really hoping that's not the same fate for this place, and I doubt it.

Hahaha for sure! You know I love you coming back. I'm really hoping they renovate this place, and I'm leaning towards yes, they have to. This was creepy and very very exciting at the same time.
This is a cool piece of history. I was so worried you were going to get caught
after I heard the voices. I guess it’s possible to renovate this theater. But then
why did they take out all of the seats? That camera and those huge lenses were
really expensive looking. It was a cool place but a little creepy in the dark spots.

Is anybody home? Yep! It appears that they are renovating it, most likely by volunteers. They might be trying to get some kind of grant for restoration. Interesting place! They must have had an "adult" night! Thanks for the unauthorized tour! 😅😂😉
