when you are using low beam, both headlights will be on at low beam, when you use the switch to high beam, both headlights will use high beam.... I think you mean low = dim / high = bright? low and high use the same amount of the light
Well done demo on how to do this with materials on hand. You have well shown which wires need to be connected to which connection posts on the lights. I might have better insulated that with heat shrink tube and added electricians grease [dielectric] to the solder-less crimp on fittings and I might even have been able to get the metal connector into the plastic 3 slot connector without cutting it up..... short circuits from rubbing wires can cause a melt-down and I do all I can to prevent those. Thank you for showing me in hands on form how the headlight wiring schematic actually relates to hard wires.
I liked this video. I am getting a zuma and plan on doing the same thing. Is there a way you could add all of the supplies (listed) on your videos description? I dont want to walk into the auto zone and look like an idiot. (Male female terminals, and then what where the things you clipped onto the exposed hot wires?) then a decent gauge wire?
Also, have you had any issues with the battery since you modded the zuma? Some people on the zumaforums say that it will drain the battery and whatnot. Wondering what your experience has been like.

i just did this best thing ive done yet so much jbrighter. this makes both high beam so it brighter than the switch trick and it cost next to nothing depending on how professional u want it to look u can do his way and be super professional bout it or u can just get random wire from power cord off a old fan or something then strip the wire and just plug it in to the empty spot on plug and splice the oposing positive wire and just tape it together

I bought an 03 zuma and i dont know if they come like that standard or if someone modded mine but both my lights work in low and high beam modes. Do the 03 zumas come that way or did the previous owner mod them?
Price is not really a option. There is a 800 - 900 dollar difference between the two, so that, plus whatever else is needed. Im not a mechanic so I donr want anything cheap\unreliable. Once you get into it, the more speed the better, however Im cool with 55 60 mph

Do you have to use 18-22 wire stuff? I have 16-22

Yeah yours is newer, the looks changed in 2012... this zuma is 2003, not mine, it's my good friend's

He’s Deaf bud. That’s why there’s no voice. Just pay close attention and you will get it for Sure. Hope you get it figured out
