I was in Venice for a day trip in 1977. Visited the Murano glass works and museum. San Marco Basilicata, the wavy floor inside and the balcony of the four horses. Also the Doge's Palazzo, Ponte Vecchio, the Galleria Ufizzi. Missed three trains because I got confused and misdirected. All in all it was a great experience, little to small crowds. A+.
I loved hearing the restaurant owner talk about the history of their place and its connection to artists. It was fascinating to know how they came to have so many paintings! If you hadn't spoken to all of them, it would've been just lunch. Instead, you (and we) got an entire history. Wonderful. Thank you!
Hello ! I went there many years ago and found it beautiful and calm far from the crowd...I think I would probably stay on the island for quiet holidays and for the kindness of people at the restaurant ! ❤
We’ve been to Venice and visited Burano. It was a wonderful experience. Had a delicious lunch al fresco. It was so interesting to learn about the history of Burano and the restaurant by Anna Barbaro. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great Italy content as always! Italian Americans enjoy your videos. You have a great appreciation for Italian culture and history! Much respect! Salute!
It's should also be mentioned that Burano created the Venitian lace and is known for all its lace shops. They also have lace making courses. It's a beautiful Island to visit. Much less commercial than Murano with its glass specialities.
Been to Venice twice and tasted their dish: Spaghetti al nero di seppia. it was superb compared to my version, of course. Been trying to cook the cuttlefish to be as tender as the one we tried but still not able to replicate it. We will try to cook it again using the recipe from Senora Rossana.
Your videos are really good, bro! Any plans to start uploading again? I just got my citizenship and am planning on moving there in the next couple of years! 🇮🇹🙃
Maybe you know now not all italians are made equally backward. Or maybe tehy're not backward at all. There are those who prefer privacy and those who let you interview them.
Would YOU live in Burano? Let me know down here 👇
Loved it! You are seriously the best TH-cam Italy tour guide. I hope you continue to make videos. Burano is now on my list.
I miss your videos!! Hope you come back sometime, but if not, thank you for all of the wonderful videos you have left behind for us!
