One of my favorite moments in legion was the reveal of ebonhorn being another uncorrupted black dragon. I did not see that coming at all and it has amazing lore potential going fowards
they removed Wrathion for logical reasons, he wouldn't have made any sense if he was Ebonhorn, because he was supposed to be a long trusted advisor to the nation, but Wrathion hasn't been around that long.If he had just shown up one day pretending to be the highmountain tauren nobody had ever heard of , especially during such a tumultuous time, it would have been suspicious to say the least
I hope they have some other storyline planned for Wrathion or he might have been removed due to time constraints. Perhaps they weren't able to finish a certain storyline that was supposed to show up later, just like there was a lot of stuff cut from WoD.
So disappointed that they removed Baine Bloodhoof from that, he's one of my favorite characters and I was looking forward to finding him there. I heard his voice files at Vol'jin's Funeral and they mentioned Highmountain Tauren being tall, and it got me super excited. Oh well. :(
I doubt they have forgotten about wrathion. Ebonhorn is reluctant to follow you in certain areas and help out in Neltharion's lair. At the end he says he needs to attend to family matters and that he hopes it is more peaceful. Foreshadowing to wrathion and maybe a struggle for power between them two maybe? I hope so because it would be great to see the black dragon flight be redeemed and seeing as this expansion is tying in every other previous one they should bring in the dragons from Outland in this story.
Wrathion foresaw the coming of the Legion and sent Garrosh to Draenor, starting the chain of events that would lead to AU Gul'Dan arriving on Azeroth and opening the way for the Legion, causing the invasion that he had sought to prevent. Either Wrathion is an idiot and now hiding out of shame, or the Old Gods manipulated him into opening the way for the Legion by sending their pawn (One way or another) Garrosh to Draenor. I mean, this has now caused us to collect the five pillars of creation that are also the five keys for unleashing N'Zoth and ending the world. Fun times! Wrathion screwed us all. Perhaps it was never the intention for Deathwing to succeed. He might merely have been a distraction, or a failed attempt at brute-forcing their way out of their prisons instead of the long con that is now unfolding. If Blizzard doesn't mess this up by ignoring this potential storyline, it might be the most brilliant story they've written so far. You can basically trace the coming of the Old Gods back to the plot of Warcraft 1 if they allow this to play with. The first way, the opening of the dark portal, Garrosh being found in Outland, Illidan being recovered for some nefarious purpose, the Lich King being replaced by someone who's easier to corrupt and yet has the trust of the Horde and Alliance, the Cataclysm, the discovery of Pandaria that led to the corruption of Garrosh who was then sent to Draenor, recovering another Gul'Dan who could open the way for the Legion, finally forcing the stalwart heroes of Azeroth into a catch-22 where we either fall to the Legion, or unleash the Old Gods.
I doubt this is what is going to happen since Warcraft lore has proven to be unreliable in terms of logical conclusions. Each expansion we are introduced to new or retconned stories. With current lore, Old Gods are merely a creations of Void Lords, this puts them below Sargeras, though Void Lords are still above him. If there is another Old God expansions, it would've been kinda like a filler (and Cataclysm all over again), similar to WoD, if they aren't going to introduce Void Lords themselves yet.
Well I think there are enough hints pointing at next exp being a Old God centric one especially if you take into account the Whispers of Il'gynoth - Nobblel has a video about them. Well this would actually fit with Wrathion: "The boy Prince plays at the Masters Table" - Wrathion is by all accounts a boy and calls himself the Black Prince, so the idea that he is being manipulated/influenced by the Old Gods is not that far fetched.

The whispers of Il'gynoth seem to be hinting at that, but we still don't know if the whispers really mean anything or if it's just the usual mumbo- jumbo the Old Gods and their minions use to drive people nuts. Regardless, an encounter with N'zoth is inevitable, and with Xavius attacking Val'sharah and the naga attacking Azhuna, I believe it will happen after Legion.
well i always hoped that he didnt die in theramore and when the bomb exploded e got mana poisoned and that the blue dragonfligh took him so the could save him and helped him absorv all that mana and then he would apear in a super sayan mode and save everyone but that will never happen :P
I really enjoy your videos, even if i haven't really touched WoW anymore since WotlK, though that doesnt stop me from enjoying the story. A thing that i greatly enjoy about this video is how you show the differences between the beta and the actual release (the important fact that Ebonhorn is his own entity and not just wrathion in disguise anymore) So i highly appreciate it that you show these vital differences off.

I want to point out one cool thing; Malrok the son of the blood totem dude is AT thunder totem when you get there and you can overhear them talking about leaving. A minor thing but I think worth mentioning as it's well done. Though the blood totem becoming feltotem I found to be retarded, they want highmountain so bad they want it to burn? Just think it could've been done better. I think they look awesome though! with the whole fel, like the nightborne ones who are tainted by it.
I guess they aren't aware the legion isn't going to like just let them have the titan relic to reshape the land as they reshaped them. Their very minds get warped by the change; i doubt they give 2 cents now about highmountain other than outsiders are on their land

I think that the Mightstone Drogbar were influenced by the Old Gods. I''d say that they're the ones who gave Dargrul his vision. Also the shadow priest artifact says that Ularogg has heard the whispers of the old gods, but admits that he is not their minion.
i think they bare more similarities to Troggs, which in turn means they would be related to Dwarves, were that the case. My guess is they are some form of Titan-created race that helped them shape the world, just like Earthen dwarves, stone giants, etc.

Well the Nether transcends all realities ... if they are defeated in one reality, they are defeated in all realities, so going to other timelines is waste of strength. Also its heavily implied that the next big issue is the old gods who are merely the servants of the Void Lords.

With Ebonhorn taking care of "family matters" it would be cool to see him interact with Wrathion, but how would he know he exists? Do all dragons have this ability to sense each other like Wrathion did before to kill all the other black dragons? And if they meet up, who's to say that Wrathion would believe Ebonhorn about him not being corrupted? Could this be a moment where it could determine if Wrathion follows in his father's footsteps? hmmmmm
Wrathion was probably saying that out of pride, as a few other dragons couldn't sense each other when shifted in another form, so probably wrathion gloating. Plus, all blacks aren't gone, just they are the last un-corrupted dragons.
It was an image of Deathwing, as Deathwing is actually now dead. As to why he was in there, the Drogbar were the slaves he used to apply the metal onto him. Neltharion's Lair refers to Deathwing, because his real name is Neltharion, in other words: Neltharion's Lair is Deathwing's Lair.
Because having Wrathion "disguise" himself as the advisor of highmountain, Ebonhorn, which is already there for a very long time, doesn't make sense at all.
Zakaria Brow the real ebonhorn could be out picking flowers or something, Wrathion could just disguise himself as ebonhorn while he isn't there. also there is no one else from the tribe with you(i think).
Raxo As stated in the Video, The Tradition require Ebonhorn to guide Mayla to became the real Highchieftain of Highmountain. Ebonhorn have to tell her the secret that have been passed between generation of highchieftien of highmountain, that is Huln Highmountain uses the Hammer of Khaz'goroth as a Tool of creation, not a weapon. And this is proven by how Huln uses the hammer to purify the corrupted eggs and named the whelp that are born from that egg, Ebonhorn. If we put Wrathion as Ebonhorn, it doesn't make any sense because, Ebonhorn was born a little bit after the sundering, and he became Advisor of Highmountain Chieftien since then. Meanwhile Wrathion was born in Cataclysm time, if you are a rogue and follow the legendary questlines you actually witness it.

Still don't understand who the Drogbar actually are. Where do they fit on the evolutionary tree? They have similarities to Goblins and Trolls.

I think they are Kobolds on steroids (highly evolved form of Kobolds).
We don't know where they originally came from, but they did exist before the war of the ancients at least.

Hey Nobbel, I had a pretty interesting idea about the expansion coming after Legion (early, I know). What if the expansion coming after this is us returning to Draenor and helping the alternate Azeroth defend against their Legion invasion? Any thoughts?
Well the Nether transcends all realities ... if they are defeated in one reality, they are defeated in all realities, so going to other timelines is waste of strength. Also its heavily implied that the next big issue is the old gods who are merely the servants of the Void Lords.

i want to know a little info on a guy called "Marcus" (think that's his name) you meet him in high mountain in a house and he was laying with a male and female Tauren, i'm guessing it was a joke but the hint i got from it was that he had a 3 some with them and when you walk in the house he walk out. Can't remember if he says anything but if he does i think it was something a long the lines of "Nothing to see here", am sure a lot of people know what and who i'm talking about :)

he does mention it briefly, in one of his other videos. I think it was the Illganoth (sorry if I suck at spelling) video, where he mentions at the end a cave in the Emerald Dream where there is a corrupted flower or something. But no, he has not made a full video about what happens yet.

With Ebonhorn taking care of "family matters" it would be cool to see him interact with Wrathion, but how would he know he exists? Do all dragons have this ability to sense each other like Wrathion did before to kill all the other black dragons? And if they meet up, who's to say that Wrathion would believe Ebonhorn about him not being corrupted? Could this be a moment where it could determine if Wrathion follows in his father's footsteps? hmmmmm
Wrathion was probably saying that out of pride, as a few other dragons couldn't sense each other when shifted in another form, so probably wrathion gloating. Plus, all blacks aren't gone, just they are the last un-corrupted dragons.

It was an image of Deathwing, as Deathwing is actually now dead. As to why he was in there, the Drogbar were the slaves he used to apply the metal onto him. Neltharion's Lair refers to Deathwing, because his real name is Neltharion, in other words: Neltharion's Lair is Deathwing's Lair.

Because having Wrathion "disguise" himself as the advisor of highmountain, Ebonhorn, which is already there for a very long time, doesn't make sense at all.
Zakaria Brow the real ebonhorn could be out picking flowers or something, Wrathion could just disguise himself as ebonhorn while he isn't there. also there is no one else from the tribe with you(i think).

As stated in the Video, The Tradition require Ebonhorn to guide Mayla to became the real Highchieftain of Highmountain.
Ebonhorn have to tell her the secret that have been passed between generation of highchieftien of highmountain, that is Huln Highmountain uses the Hammer of Khaz'goroth as a Tool of creation, not a weapon. And this is proven by how Huln uses the hammer to purify the corrupted eggs and named the whelp that are born from that egg, Ebonhorn.
If we put Wrathion as Ebonhorn, it doesn't make any sense because, Ebonhorn was born a little bit after the sundering, and he became Advisor of Highmountain Chieftien since then.
Meanwhile Wrathion was born in Cataclysm time, if you are a rogue and follow the legendary questlines you actually witness it.
