"Niko njaa hata siwezi karanga"......🎶🎵🎻.
In this song that was done 9years ago, Juliani says that though the prices of commodities are high, solution is not in reduction of prices but in providing opportunities for Kenyans to be able to afford the commodities, I AGREE!!
I heard this song in the morning and got goosebumps. The song is so timely because Juliani goes on to urge Kenyans to exercise their democratic right and vote in good leaders who will give them these opportunities.
Lack of opportunities can be attributed to a great deal on corruption and selfish leaders who promise actions but once elected fail to deliver services and their campaign pledges to Kenyans.
Mwenye macho haambiwi tazama. Kenyans to this end know what the leaders in the two main coalitions Azimio and KK stand for judging by their past actions. While the Azimio presidential ticket is committed to fighting corruption, their opponents would not even want to address that issue, they are products of CoRRuption.
Manufacturing and value addition to our raw products is something the Azimio coalition presidential ticket has committed to give Kenyans. This will go a long way in providing employment opportunities and better returns for farmers of the raw products. The other camp's promise of a bottoms-up economic model is a fallacy that has never been explained satisfactorily.
Kenyans, let's be wise and make our votes count this time lest tuishi kutoa ngoma za lamentations.
