Hello from southern central Oklahoma. We just had a snowstorm last week that gave us over 8 inches of snow. This is almost a rarity. Last one was about 14 years ago. I am currently working on a quilt called Accents of Fall from Annie's Jelly Roll Quilts for all Seasons. Am loving it and having fun.

Hi again! I have several rules that I use frequently. My most used is creative grids 2 1/2 x 12 1/2 and creative grids 10" square!!! I just started quilting about 3 years ago, am currently 69, and have lots of piecing to do and quilts to make. I love scrap and crumb piecing and the color red!! So pick me, pick me as I need to built up my scrap stash!!! First time to catch your channel. Really enjoyed watching you, you seem to be very, very nice and very knowledgeable about this craft!!! My daddy always told me and my brothers all my growing up life that "If anything is worth doing at all, it is worth doing right!" I have subscribed to your channel and will be watching past videos and looking forward to future ones. This last year I pieced together quilts for a couple of friends who were diagnosed with cancer. My mother-in-law passed due to cancer and I have a heart for anyone going through what she did. Thank you for sharing your talent and time. The blocks you are currently doing is gorgeous!!!! Love it!! Take care and God bless!!!! ❤

My favorite rulers are anything creative grid. It’s easy on my eyes and easy to use.

I love creative grids also. I have another one that I purchased at first, and I never use it anymore.

First time here. Enjoyed watching you make the red quilt. I’ve made a couple with that technique. Since you want to save on motions my suggestion for efficiency would be to put a small cutting mat, maybe 12x18, on the camera end of your ironing board. 😊

Yes I have sewn through my thumb nail. Was quilting on my domestic machine. One last turn moved my thumb to the back of needle. Boom thumb was under the needle. Jerked it back. Needle was broken. If there was anything good it was only went through nail and not the bone. My hubby had to get pliers and pull rest of needle out with the thread.
I had no pain. Not even the next day.
    Life is good….

I love your new standing table! ❤️
I checked the number of stitches on my Q20 and I have over a million. I think you handled your one woman show with style! I love creative grids rulers and since you like efficiency may I suggest you add a pop socket on top of the ruler. It makes picking up the ruler so much faster!
