2 years is not abandonment, it takes time to settle abroad, I've not seen my mum in 7 yrs, unfortunately when I should have, booked flight and all but tested positive for covid. After that financially not been OK, but then applying for papers for her which is taking so much time. Mariam has said it all.. to even get time off at work here is not beans at all.. also the children factor, do you fly all your kids to Nigeria ,with which money? I pray my mum's documents co e out quivlly so i can see her.
What of children who are living in Nigeria even and never saw their mother. It’s not only people abroad. Even people back home too. I am talking from my own experience
@@Truth_Unchained It looks like a great lie right? but I am telling you a personal experience. I am in Canada I have seen my mother recently than some of my sibbling in nigeria.
@@oluwafemioladeji Its just super sad. They only focus on people abroad. Even those back home. A brother of mine who lives in nigeria, only saw my dada after like 5 yrs on my dad way to mortuary. It is well.
@floxykwears I agree with you. However, I put it to you that it is not a frequent occurrence in Nigeria, even among the children who are finding it tough financially.
Why are these ladies obsessed with this japa issue, especially Morayo? Could it be that she is silently regretting her decision to return to Nigeria after her studies in the US? They should take on more pressing issues like the mismanagement of the Nigerian economy by their sugardaddy. After all, some people in Nigeria still can't travel to see their parents due to bad roads, insecurity, and ridiculous transport fares all courtesy of T-Pain.
TVC has many political programmes. This programs focuses on trending stories that relate to family life and community issues. You don’t have to use the knowledge that she once lived in the US to clap back at her.
I have so much to say. This situation is deeper than what is being discussed here. I agree with the lady in black head tie to some extent. We need to know what type of mother the late woman was to her children because even some of these parents have no compassion towards their grown children. I'm saying this from my experience. Compassion has nothing to do with money. Sometimes, the poor people are the meaniest and you can never do enough for them.
There is more to life than the mere pursuit of material acquisition. No more affection and the old deep concern for the weak in the society. Imagine leaving the ones who could not even sleep because of you so suffer at the time they need you most. I just hope our younger ones realize the gravity of their mistakes.
The society tend to appreciate those who contribute financially than those who are compassionate.
True
Very true

We gave my mum monthly allowance till she died. She was drawing her pension at the time too. She laboured a lot on us after Daddy died in 1982

This one is too low for you.

Thanks for this

May their children also abandon them.
