As an assassin who no interest in boasting or being dishonest, why would he say this if it weren’t true? A 2 on 1 would be difficult for just about any character there and Zeno’s props solidifies Chrollo as equal there. Stop overthinking it when the man admits it himself.

godspeeds first function is a speed buff, godspeeds secondary function doesnt stop him from thinking and it gives no buff in speed, its a buff in reaction time but killua can only really use it in that way: reactionary. I highly doubt killua could oneshot hisoka so even if killua ambushes him i dont think it would be a oneshot. while hisoka cant actively get hits on killua due to killuas way better reaction time, i do think hisoka could act reactionary like if killua attacks, he could cover killuas hand in bungee gum, covering himself fully in bungee gum could also increase hisokas defenses as hits would be slowed by the bungee gum and killua would be stuck to hisoka if he wants it so. lightning attacks and stun coming from it would be insulated against due to properties of rubber. i would say hisoka has more chances of winning than you make it seem. also the argument of hisoka not wanting to fight killua does hold since even if hisoka doesnt know of the reaction speed buff, he still saw the speed and could probably assume killua to have some lightning attacks. if it were to happen id say it is close and just comes down to who togashi wants to win.
@@MiniBinguss honestly fair, the more I think about this matchup the more I feel like it’s a 55/45 split where I give more an edge to Killua then Hisoka but it’s an extreme diff either way
Firstly very solid scaling for both characters, i agree for the most part (except hisoka is closer to the royals than the squadron leaders) 2a) Hisoka is genius, he is able to break down nen abilities, assess potential, as well as create and master abilities/techniques upon conceptualizing them. 2b) This is important, as Hisoka witnessed God speed, and regardless of him not seeing whirlwind, Hisoka knows killuas abilities are lighting based, and bungee gum with foreknowledge, is THE counter to lighting, which he now has. 2C) Hisoka is confident he can beat killua 3a) Killuas speed is faster, but Hisokas experience would mitigate the differences 3b) Since Morel and Knuckle are able to adapt to Cheetu speed given their battle experience, Hisoka should be able to do same, since hes more intelligent and has similar battle experience given the narrative (despite being picky), and since Hisoka would have direct resistance to the electricty aspect of killua, all he as to do is adapt in speed 4a) The narrative IS on Hisokas side 4b) Zeno > Silva >> Illumi, with chrollo > zeno with hisoka relative to chrollo, and above chrollo in physicality making hisoka >>> Silva, and given the portrayal of the family dynamic, its odd to put GS killua >>>> Silva and >>>>>> Illumi, since its not hinted at all, even by killua himself, even if you think hes stronger than (majority) of his family Given this information: 1) Hisoka has essential understanding to killuas ability and the intelligence and abilities to counter 2) Hisoka could likely mitigate the *extreme* difference (not completely but enough to adapt, since killua is likely faster than netero) 3) Hisoka has narratively stronger AP and Durability and more ingenuity C) Hisoka is a postion to 6-9/10 battles against GS Killua (even assuming GS lasts the entire fight)
I will say you have changed my opinion a bit. I still think Killua wins but it used to be a 7/10 times now I feel like it’s 5.5/10 times he wins, and it’s now extreme diff cause I feel like I downplayed Hisoka’s intelligence a lot. There are some problems I have with the arguments you made though I don’t think you can compare Morel adapting to Cheetu’s speed to Hisoka adapting to Killua’s speed, mainly cause Cheetu is a really bad fighter and a dumbass. Furthermore it also took time for them to actually adapt, time which i don’t think Killua would offer. While I think Hisoka is much smarter then Morel which would certainly help it still would take time People often confuse this Killua, his lightning is not his main source of attack potency. It’s why I emphasized the point that god speed only amps speed and not attack power. A lot of people think he uses the lightning as power moves but in reality he just uses it to amp the stunning affect which granted Hisoka would null it but there is still generally the speed issue I also wouldn’t put Hisoka closer to the royal guards but that is mainly cause I think the royal guards are stupidly stronger than the squadron leaders. Like I put Killua a one shot level above squadron leaders and he is still not even a tenth of the strength of Youpi in base, it’s actually crazy I will say I think Chrollo is closer to Silva if not stronger then him then he is close to Illumi. For me it more so goes Zeno>Hisoka and Chrollo>Silva>Illumi. I just brought up the illumi stuff cause I know people try and use that to put god speed Killua above them. I also put Chrollo above Silva because Silva when confident he would kill Chrollo with Zeno trying to hold him down failed in doing that and Illumi only called after the attack was done Also HxH is rather weird with its power scaling. It’s very rare we get characters thinking about if they surpass someone or not, one of the few times for example is Killua comparing Hisoka and Illumi to Pitou, which also helps my argument for the speed difference cause of God Speed Killua keeping up with post mordem nen amped Pitou However I will say your points on Hisoka’s intelligence were accurate and I feel I downplayed the shit out of Hisoka so I think the fight is a 50 50 or I can see Killua winning slightly more times unless Hisoka can adapt fast enough. I always thought it would be extreme diff but it’s more difficult then even that Ngl this is why I love HxH battles, they are complex as fuck
Well the thing about killua transformation is it have 3 disadvantages in my opinion The first is it doesn't last that long The second is most of the time he actually used it in a fight he transformed in front if his foes And the third is hisoka already saw it I believe if hisoka attached his bungee gum to killua before he actives it or even after hisoka wins. And killua can't one-shot hisoka, we have seen killua tries to one shot machie by stapping her in the heart and he couldn't pierce her skin, and machie while strong she isn't on hisoka's level of physical strength. The last point i would add is hisoka used his bungee gum while fighting goto to post his speed to the point goto couldn't see hisoka's movements. So there are many ways for hisoka to counter killua in godspeed mod, honestly he just needs to attach his nen to killua and thats it.
I don’t think Killua can one shot Hisoka but what I think could happen is in the short span of speed he will have he can build up enough damage to take him out Also the Machi is not really valid cause Killua gets much stronger from that point in Yorknew, so while yes Machi couldn’t get one shot by Yorknew Killua, Killua has grown so much past the Yorknew arc in scaling it’s not funny. Basically Killua doesn’t stay stagnant in strength Also I don’t think that’s a big enough speed amp to put Hisoka on the levels of being so fast Youpi can’t do anything to you as well as keeping up with Post Mordem Nen Amped Pitou
you refuted yourself just by asking how Chrollo actually needed the setup he has run with just to proceed a few minutes later to say to beat hisoka for sure effectively answering your own question. me a youtube comment is the last person to berrate you but you should still be careful how to phrase things and not repeat points just to answer or question them differently after you did. You also said strongest while not clarifying strong how? After all half the troupe outclasses Chrollo in raw physical might including Hisoka. You gotta be clear with the way you describe these things no matter how excited you feel when talking about it otherwise its even more subject to interpretation bud. As always in this regard i dont think powerscaling works much if at all in hxh as weighing individual abilities is already exceptionally difficult and only rare exceptions like the RG and Meruem can clear cut quantify over any other Character in most regards (though i still believe that Togashi wrote Knov out because Scream could have just killed or gravely injured a guard or Meruem no matter the aura output). it depends how a character uses their ability and unique leanings too. Kastro is still a great example of not just squandered potential but a waste of using it only as a phantom attack against hisoka not utelizing it differently. hell he didnt realise his mental image is static so the double doesnt change after damage. Also, a character like Killua should for example have plenty of aura to create En like Nobunaga in radius yet he cant. he is simply unskilled at it or doesnt know how to produced enough at once. we get even better insight to these things when we look at recent data shared by Togashi but anyhow. I digress. We have plenty of in story implications to assertain Hisokas and Killuas lvl. first is general Nen Quantity. Hisoka in preperaton to fight Chrollo did not slack and got if just slightly stronger too at the end of the story. Comparing Killuas implications when comparing him with troupe members. The Punitive Force except Netero. he should be considered a high end Nen Master. Probably arround Kite. Knuckle and Shoot outclassed in Aura alone Gon and Kill by double the amount even after the training. Morel has double that again which is at Hisokas Ballpark. that alone can imply that he could sustain techniques and basic combat 4times as long if not longer compared to Kill. Hisoka is 3rd in the Phantom troupe Arm wrestlling while chrollo is barely in the middle so this is also exceedingly contentious thing talking about durability. This and the fight with uvo was clearly made to point out that raw might alone isnt the most efficient in Nen Fights. then again one can argue that Togashi was very much developing Nen in Yorknew when Chrollo fought the Zoldyks when contemplating durability in the first place. You see how just contemplating general Aura Quantity as a loaded question. Frankly i would probably rate hxh fights like heavens arena rates high lvl fights. out of 10 times how many times would one win against the other in a straight fight. you can imagine a Odd number in most cases not considering Luck or other outside factors. and then one can play with the ideas of ambushes, pre planning, one being aware of another or not, assasination attempts, and so on and so on. Frankly I would see their fight being a flash. Killua has not time to waste against Hisoka if he where to fight him to the Death he needs to kill him Fast or whittle him down and the later is just too dangerous cause of his technique. godspeed is made for a rushdown and hisoka will not see it coming, literally. It all comes down if Hisoka can catch him early with bungee gum or Killua manages to decapitate the Joker before he can capture him which is difficult because of Experience and Aura Quantity. What if Hisoka would decide to coat himself with Bungee gum for the time Kill has Godspeed Active ? Who can act react and read the other faster here ? Its just too loaded ot a Thought experiment i think. This does also not account to make Nen Vows in the middle of the fight.
Godspeed Kil was so fast that Youpi couldn't make a sound. Yes, Hisoka can coat himself in bungee gum but to act like it's too much of a thought experiment whether godspeed Kil can react fast enough to the coating is pretty disingenuous.
Nope, you guys aren’t considering that Hisoka has a bunch more up his sleeve His abilities aren’t just bungee gum and texture surprise Its been confirmed by a former assistant of Togashi’s that Hisoka’s skills are based off playing cards and he has a few skills that haven’t been shown Hisoka is the strongest in the HxH universe
No he isnt, stop glazing. Hisoka is by far one of the weakest combatants in all of HxH. His bloodlust and inclination for flare has gotten him in trouble many times. He got killed by Chrollo being so thirsty. He would have gotten killed by Netero if Netero acknowledged him. He lost his arms to Castro. He was outwitted by a novice Gon. Razor destroyed his hand thru his hatsu. Also a former assistant cant confirm shit. Only togashi can, which has been spoken of as he's been known to change his mind after hiatuses and start retconning planned ideas. But we've seen several characters so far that would absolutely murder Hisoka. Chrollo, Netero, Ging, Pariston, Zeno, Silva, Maha, Uvogin, Illumi at least 2 other zodiacs and a slew of chimera ants.
I think the one shot scaling and equalizing squadron leaders is pretty shaky. We've seen squadron leaders have vastly different stats (Meleoron for example) and Cheeto didn't expect the attack, so he basically took a full powered Ko to the skull. Cheeto didn't have any great durability feats afaik. His strength was his speed.
I think Killua loses still honestly. Gon may have enough attack power to kill morel or knuckle but in actual battle, he clearly could not put it together well enough to defeat knuckle. I bring Gon up because he is Killuas peer and tho not an equal, they are similar in power levels. Killua did get the better of Youpi with the help of Meleoron to a degree but had Killua not been able to run after losing energy quickly he would have died badly. I think when it comes to battle, godspeed would help him but only so much. Even Killua stated it did not do much damage so killua landing a bunch of stunning shots Hisoka could tank until he runs low is not a good strategy because he cannot just run away due to bungee gum. If he tries to fight without it, I do not see how he could even think to win that fight. I have no doubt if you gave him until like age 16-18 to train, he would beat him 100%. But it is pretty clear Togashi does not hold him in THAT high of regards when he is struggling to outrun Tsubonne with Godspeed. Him being of a similar level to Hisoka would mean he has also closed the gap with his own father considerably.
Ehhh, it seems pretty clear that Killua wouldn't have a chance against Hisoka at the end of Chimera Ant at least. Killua's abilities are flashier, but bungee gum has the properties of gum and *rubber*. Rubber is a hard counter to electricity. Hisoka sets up a trap to cover Killua in texture surprise and loses all conductivity. No more god speed.
Whilst I understand by feats and scaling killua should be near hisoka, I can’t help but shake the feeling that narrative wise they are still less than halfway to his level; especially considering his post mortem awakening.
@@zorro8027 I will say I do agree that post mordem nen amp Hisoka is stronger. The main reason I feel narrative wise this makes a lot of sense is cause the chimera ant arc and especially there interaction with Pitou is to show Illumi and Hisoka are not that strong compared to what’s really out there. There training now to try and get to the level where they stand a chance against someone who is massively stronger then those people they know, and then they get approved to join in, showing they are now strong enough. It’s why in my mind it’s justifiable that Gon and Killua can be near Hisoka level at this point

I never seen chrollo as equal to the two zoldycks. He gets points for surviving sure but he was never winning at any point. And with there experience I doubt any of his tricks would work against the zoldycks.
You do realize they were hired and sent there to kill ok and couldn’t and he wasn’t even trying to kill them he was just wasting time and trying to get away
@@cameronbolden5064 yea and illumi saved him. We see Zeno invade the palace with netero and that move was light years ahead of what he went at chrollo with.
@@cameronbolden5064they were gonna kill him, af the last second Silva made sure the attack didnt hit because the assassination was called off
Except Zeno quite literally gives Chrollo his props and tells him he’s unsure of who would win between them if Chrollo actually fought with intention to kill. As an assassin who no interest in boasting or being dishonest, why would he say this if it weren’t true?
A 2 on 1 would be difficult for just about any character there and Zeno’s props solidifies Chrollo as equal there. Stop overthinking it when the man admits it himself.
@@Houndz1100 I remember the chapter. Chrollo asked who would 1v1 and Zeno said of course he would. Then he reveals he knew chrollo wasn’t fighting with his full strength and if he did it would be a different story. Banking an “unsure” with a guy who needed a massive amount of prep to take on the guy who struggled with one of Zeno’s butlers. I just don’t see it. 9/10 I got the old man grandpa 👴
Meruem gave Netero his props too.
hisoka stomps
godspeeds first function is a speed buff, godspeeds secondary function doesnt stop him from thinking and it gives no buff in speed, its a buff in reaction time but killua can only really use it in that way: reactionary.
@@MiniBinguss honestly fair, the more I think about this matchup the more I feel like it’s a 55/45 split where I give more an edge to Killua then Hisoka but it’s an extreme diff either way
Firstly very solid scaling for both characters, i agree for the most part (except hisoka is closer to the royals than the squadron leaders)
2a) Hisoka is genius, he is able to break down nen abilities, assess potential, as well as create and master abilities/techniques upon conceptualizing them.
2b) This is important, as Hisoka witnessed God speed, and regardless of him not seeing whirlwind, Hisoka knows killuas abilities are lighting based, and bungee gum with foreknowledge, is THE counter to lighting, which he now has.
2C) Hisoka is confident he can beat killua
3a) Killuas speed is faster, but Hisokas experience would mitigate the differences
3b) Since Morel and Knuckle are able to adapt to Cheetu speed given their battle experience, Hisoka should be able to do same, since hes more intelligent and has similar battle experience given the narrative (despite being picky), and since Hisoka would have direct resistance to the electricty aspect of killua, all he as to do is adapt in speed
4a) The narrative IS on Hisokas side
4b) Zeno > Silva >> Illumi, with chrollo > zeno with hisoka relative to chrollo, and above chrollo in physicality making hisoka >>> Silva, and given the portrayal of the family dynamic, its odd to put GS killua >>>> Silva and >>>>>> Illumi, since its not hinted at all, even by killua himself, even if you think hes stronger than (majority) of his family
Given this information:
1) Hisoka has essential understanding to killuas ability and the intelligence and abilities to counter
2) Hisoka could likely mitigate the *extreme* difference (not completely but enough to adapt, since killua is likely faster than netero)
3) Hisoka has narratively stronger AP and Durability and more ingenuity
C) Hisoka is a postion to 6-9/10 battles against GS Killua (even assuming GS lasts the entire fight)
I will say you have changed my opinion a bit. I still think Killua wins but it used to be a 7/10 times now I feel like it’s 5.5/10 times he wins, and it’s now extreme diff cause I feel like I downplayed Hisoka’s intelligence a lot. There are some problems I have with the arguments you made though
I don’t think you can compare Morel adapting to Cheetu’s speed to Hisoka adapting to Killua’s speed, mainly cause Cheetu is a really bad fighter and a dumbass. Furthermore it also took time for them to actually adapt, time which i don’t think Killua would offer. While I think Hisoka is much smarter then Morel which would certainly help it still would take time
People often confuse this Killua, his lightning is not his main source of attack potency. It’s why I emphasized the point that god speed only amps speed and not attack power. A lot of people think he uses the lightning as power moves but in reality he just uses it to amp the stunning affect which granted Hisoka would null it but there is still generally the speed issue
I also wouldn’t put Hisoka closer to the royal guards but that is mainly cause I think the royal guards are stupidly stronger than the squadron leaders. Like I put Killua a one shot level above squadron leaders and he is still not even a tenth of the strength of Youpi in base, it’s actually crazy
I will say I think Chrollo is closer to Silva if not stronger then him then he is close to Illumi. For me it more so goes Zeno>Hisoka and Chrollo>Silva>Illumi. I just brought up the illumi stuff cause I know people try and use that to put god speed Killua above them. I also put Chrollo above Silva because Silva when confident he would kill Chrollo with Zeno trying to hold him down failed in doing that and Illumi only called after the attack was done
Also HxH is rather weird with its power scaling. It’s very rare we get characters thinking about if they surpass someone or not, one of the few times for example is Killua comparing Hisoka and Illumi to Pitou, which also helps my argument for the speed difference cause of God Speed Killua keeping up with post mordem nen amped Pitou
However I will say your points on Hisoka’s intelligence were accurate and I feel I downplayed the shit out of Hisoka so I think the fight is a 50 50 or I can see Killua winning slightly more times unless Hisoka can adapt fast enough. I always thought it would be extreme diff but it’s more difficult then even that
Ngl this is why I love HxH battles, they are complex as fuck
Post Chimera-ant Killua could take him. Killua as an adult could kill him.
Thx
Well the thing about killua transformation is it have 3 disadvantages in my opinion
The first is it doesn't last that long
The second is most of the time he actually used it in a fight he transformed in front if his foes
And the third is hisoka already saw it
I believe if hisoka attached his bungee gum to killua before he actives it or even after hisoka wins.
I don’t think Killua can one shot Hisoka but what I think could happen is in the short span of speed he will have he can build up enough damage to take him out
Also the Machi is not really valid cause Killua gets much stronger from that point in Yorknew, so while yes Machi couldn’t get one shot by Yorknew Killua, Killua has grown so much past the Yorknew arc in scaling it’s not funny. Basically Killua doesn’t stay stagnant in strength
Also I don’t think that’s a big enough speed amp to put Hisoka on the levels of being so fast Youpi can’t do anything to you as well as keeping up with Post Mordem Nen Amped Pitou
you refuted yourself just by asking how Chrollo actually needed the setup he has run with just to proceed a few minutes later to say to beat hisoka for sure effectively answering your own question. me a youtube comment is the last person to berrate you but you should still be careful how to phrase things and not repeat points just to answer or question them differently after you did.

How you gonna beat rubber with lightning
Don't tempt the clown.
No. I don't think so bro.
this is actually a pretty cool match up bro
Nope, you guys aren’t considering that Hisoka has a bunch more up his sleeve
His abilities aren’t just bungee gum and texture surprise
Its been confirmed by a former assistant of Togashi’s that Hisoka’s skills are based off playing cards and he has a few skills that haven’t been shown
Hisoka is the strongest in the HxH universe
Due to his relationship with Illumi, Hisoka is used to assassins techniques
Yeep
Buncha Tsubone victims
I think the one shot scaling and equalizing squadron leaders is pretty shaky. We've seen squadron leaders have vastly different stats (Meleoron for example) and Cheeto didn't expect the attack, so he basically took a full powered Ko to the skull.
Cheeto didn't have any great durability feats afaik. His strength was his speed.
Tbh that is fair
predator vs predated
But rubber doesn't conduct electricity.
@@TheEternalFlame57Hisoka is still the same level he was before his defeat. What feats does Post-Mortum Hisoka have?
Post Mortum Nen is DURING death. Hisoka is no longer dead, he's alive now. By saying Hisoka is stronger now would completely contradict how Post Mortum Nen was explained.
Hisoka vs base is a easy diff
