Completely agree on your take regarding SC2. It was a godlike competitve game. Kinda sad it died to League bacause people were more comfortable to flame their teammates when they loose instead of searching for their own mistakes.
I think that Albion is in a very fair place. Its not a bad game, its very simple, but does have some fun builds you can make and work. Itemization literally matters, its what makes your build what it is. It does have a massive problem with afk drop streamers, and has like literally zero story, but its based off of Arthurian Legend loosely, and has some unique visuals and cool open world PvP systems even for solo players and casual guilds

Modern WoW is A to B tier; it's trash. But WoW from 2004-2012 is S+ tier, and it's not even close. I've played and enjoyed most of the top MMOs at a high level, so I’m not just biased toward one.
Combat is one of the most important aspects of MMOs. and the vast majority of them have TRASH combat. the only other thing MMOs have going for them is progression systems.(the rest is just how you interact with the combat/progression) So, BDO, S tier combat, D tier progression system(REGRESSION in gear progression is dumb, always has been, always will be). So while i agree S tier is not the spot for it, there isnt a single MMO in existence that belongs in S tier.

I really like a game called realm of the mad god and it literally has like 8 bit fucking sega saturn graphics and it's still awesome, so I don't think graphics are always definitively going to make people not want to play a game.

@@Ballsagnya FF have this numbers only because RPers or story lovers... FFOnline is more solo experience with coop, you literraly dont need any one to rush story lines with you. Game is behind WoW in terms of content, the combat is boring and slowly worse than in WoW. Dungeons become repetitive rather quickly. PvP is joke.
@@JustRuda Real, I got over 7k hours on FF and end game is absolute dog water while PvE savage content is just dodge flashing lights while playing piano with your job, ain't even gonna talk about PvP lmao. Events are also absolutely HORRENDOUS in FF. If you're looking for a decent enough endgame that will keep you busy but not rush you, it'll be GW2. BDO for combat. Can't really recommend other tab targets in the state they're in.
