I played this game on the ps1 as a kid....to have the remake 20 years later on the Switch is one thing, but to have a 4 year old autistic son who loves this game as much as me and plays it 10x better than me is a treasure I will forever hold ❤️

Here's every major change i like about Re-Pac: 1. The graphics, of course, are much better now. 2. I never imagined Pac-man World having its own native language. I like it. 3. The cutscenes are so much better than they were back in the PS1 era. 4. Gameplay hasn't lost its traditional routes, though the ability to throw pellets is pretty impressive. 5. The power pellets have the same effect as they always do. Although in Re-Pac, Pac-man will transform into a bigger version of his classic arcade self. I thought that was impressive. 6. Probably the best change is the boss fights getting a MAJOR revamp. They each get their own entrance cutscene. They are now either longer or much tougher than they were back in the Ps1 era. Probably the best boss improvement was the race with he clowns as the controls and camera are much better.
The game overall is much more forgiving too, because in the original it's much easier to miss stuff that you can only get at first try (Like in 1:21:32, there isn't a platform to the left of the tower where the C is on in the original. If you didn't climb it when you bounce on the box, you can't get it anymore).
Damn I remember playing this when I was like 5. Can only remember the first level though, so I'm glad to hear it's music was mostly unchanged. Very nostalgic
2:37:24 apparently there’s no strawberry for me to open the door?! Update: apparently if you waste the explode and not nearby the door it may or may not give you the strawberry under the water near the door. I basically had to reset the stage to get it to appear. They should fix that bug

This game is so much fun and is similar to how I remembered it from my childhood!! The remake has a few minor tweaks but I’d say all the levels are pretty true to the originals.
I wish they could've had Ms. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, and Pac-Man Jr in this game. I miss them! I miss the voice-acting from the PS1 title, too. Otherwise, this game looks quite good! I like Pac-Man's dances when he finishes a level. Cute!

Would you be able to negotiate with her so that you try to pass this level "Taming Gollum" again on 100%? How'd you unlock the new area? I beat the Ruins, Pirate Area, and Space Area. I collected everything in all levels and beat all bosses. I also freed everyone that I could in each area, and it won't let me progress. What did I do wrong?
Too bad that the ghosts in the maze minigame don't follow the rules of the classical game; they just seem to move randomly, and frequently reverse their direction for no apparent reason.

On World 6, I love that Cylde is wearing a Witch or a Wizard hat. I love it so much!
