it only works once then never again, i have the reset when receiving from option enabled on my barrel too

If you followed the video exactly and made sure that the options were right then it’s probably outdated.

IVE copied everything and THIS IS something ive already known how to do but for some reason no matter what I do it wont work. Ive tried resetting the explosive via the explosive itself ive tried a timer buffer system that starts after interacting with the button and upon completion it resets the explosive. Ive tried using the trigger device that triggers the reset after button is pressed as well. All of them just randomly quit working and bug out.. I think the devices are simply broken and glitched right now.

Try this:
In the button, go to where it says on button activated, select explosive device to explode. Then add the same explosion device on button activated and click reset.
If this doesn't help then I have no idea what is happening. There may also be some updated tutorials somewhere on youtube.

This is probably just a glitch. Make sure your settings are correct though. Also, does it just go invisible or it is gone?

Make sure that you have the setting in the explosive barrel "reset when receiving from" on button also.
