Floch is an amazing character, but they're not ready for that conversation.
Yes, yes he is.
If I was in the world of attack on titan I would never get along with Floch. But even so, it does not mean that he is a super good character. From being a cowardly nobody to becoming a leader capable of doing anything for his people, it was incredible.
Yeah and he is right about the things he said. Paradis will be destroyed i’m sure. I’m not saying things he did right but what could he did? U cant blame him and Eren for things they did. It’s easy to blame them from viewer point and our morals.
This whole statement is true I watched attack on titan over and over and I will always say that his point of view and what eren and the others faces are both correct to act the way they did. for starters floch had to fight with his comrades to the point of death and witnessing everything the devastation the beast left behind crushing not only his comrades but Erwin too,that was really tough on him considering what he went through. If we were in his position we would feel the same way. Now here comes eren and his friends point of view. Eren witnessed so much in his life in the walls that of course he is going to be angry because he and the others are experienced. on top of that Armin is eren and everyone that faced the armored and colossal titans friends he is and will always be important plus he did save countless lives in the walls leading them to victory. They both experienced trauma in many ways and both weren’t there to see what they went through floch went through something and so did eren and the others.
I can appreciate his dedication as a character & his badass scenes, but he’ll always be a lil bitch boy to me still, ngl 😂🤷🏾♂️
True, he was wrong but why he did what he did is just amazing writing as always. A lot of people are angry and/or can't understand why he's trying so hard to be the island's "hero" sources way back to Erwin's suicidal charge. Weighed down by the death and destruction that happened that day and every event afterwards, there's no denying that Floch has always been so pressured to create another devil and keep it alive at all cost this time. He knew he was never the playmaker, he knew he would always be the pawn but he made sure he did his job damn well so the trump card on his side has the best chance of winning. That's a man fighting for a cause, a cause he has to believe in due to how the world treated him.
To answer your question eren does want to do the rumbling but he feels bad about it. He´s dissapointed that the ppl outside of the walls are the same people in the walls. They´re all people. They´re all the same. It wasnt like the dream he shared with armin.
What do you think drives him more at this point: the love for his friends and wanting them to live free or his disappointing in the world beyond the walls?

I suggest you check out the High School mini chapters that are part of the same manga written by the same author, and confirmed to be canon personalities, you will learn more of Eren’s motivations.
I believe Eren was gonna do the rumbling no matter any circumstance if he had the power.

Not EXACTLY :D I always cringe when i read "disappointed" instead of "so disappointed" in the Anime Sub :D There are actually several of these very slight Differences in Wording in the Anime, which are sometimes fine and sometimes kinda understate/overstate the Situation in an annoying Way^^. These last Chapters especially deal with so much Trauma, Psychology and Philosophy that I really feel every single Word has weight to it. I can be kinda Nitpicky tho - so maybe that's just me and this A.A. Guy :D

I'm sorry but Sister, Mimi & Brother do not understand Shingeki no Kyojin at all. The hypocrisy of cheering for Eren Yeager while he slaughters innocent kids and babies, and enjoys the view, while hating on Floch Forster who is LITERALLY trying to make sure Eren Yeager does this so everyone on the island can survive is crazy. lol your sister still hating... as expected, and understandable as a show only person, but us manga fans know the truth about Eren and yeah, u wrong about him. keep in mind Eren knows the future, he doesnt want to murder all those people, but its something that he had to do... to save the world. its the same thing Connie had to do, Reiner too, Hange, etc... the show is hammering it home how all these characters have to do these terrible things for the bigger picture. I still respectfully disagree with you. Eren literally said he was disappointed for a reason, compared himself to Reiner, and berated himself. He was disappointed because there were humans outside of the wall, he was disappointed the moment he learned that in the basement. Eren is an unhinged person, we’ve seen this multiple times. I am not going to discredit the fact that he does indeed want to save his friends, but I feel like so many people either miss or don’t want to admit that Eren is a maniac who is also in pursuit of chasing his childish desires. He has multiple motivations for the rumbling, *both* selfish and selfless motivations. Too many people I feel have realized only one of the motivations.

The attack titan = shingeki no kyojin =進撃の巨人
「進撃」means advancing/charging in the context of a battle rather than attacking specifically, so the nuance is lost in the translation. There isn't much that the translators could've done unfortunately. The "Charging Titan" doesn't sound nearly as good as the "Attack Titan", and it doesn't have the broader meaning that the Japanese word does unfortunately
「の」 means of, 「巨人」 means titan
But attack is usually 「攻撃」 not 「進撃」 in Japan.
「攻撃」, 「進撃」 and 「巨人」 are Chinese characters and have meanings on their own.
「進」 means advance forward, go up, improve, etc.
「攻」 means attack, learn
「撃」 means beating, attacking
「攻撃」 means attack.
In Japan the attack titan means kogeki no kyojin, means 「攻撃の巨人」
but the creator, Isayama, chose to name it shingeki no kyojin!
It is difficult to translate shingeki no kyojin to English.
The name of the Titan and the name of the show is:
The titan who attacks to advance forward.
That Is the more correct meaning.

Eren is a victim of his own future. He can’t stop what’s gonna happen because it’s already predetermined, even if he knows it’s gonna happen. Plus he probably saw that they are gonna stop him in the future.

Why the sister laughing and smiling when the kids and the humans are dying. Shes more happy that she feels right, then the sadness she should feel for the people dying, given her position is that eren is wrong and killing is bad. To the lady in the right* 1. Erwin didn't admit to which side he was on, only that he is observing the actions of his comrades. 2: the Marleyan Commander only admitted the fault of Marleyan Hate which resulted in the Annihilation of the world. If Tybur hadn't done his speech and declared war on Paradis, Eren wouldn't have resorted to the Rumbling as its the only war Paradis can fight back. It's only during the Rumbling that they realized they messed up when if Marley was actually full of decent human being, it shouldn't take the End of the world for them to realize. All you're doing is ignoring the Core problem Eren is trying to Eliminate which is the cycle of Hatred which is dooms his people.
Eren saw the future and knows that if he doesn't go as far as he can with the Rumbling, Paradis is doomed and Marley will continue its Fascist conquests of the rest of the world, repeating the cycle of hate.
^This is how We can be Pro-Eren. Attention to detail and critical thinking are key to understanding this anime.

Keep in mind Zeke was gonna die in a few months, Eren was gonna die in few years, while every other country in the world were strengthening their war capabilities and their weapons. A peace treaty wouldn't work because they could just pretend to be peaceful for a while and ambush them after Eren is gone. Also while Paradis's population is decreasing or slowly increasing, the world population is increasing exponentially which would be bad for Paradis in terms of an all out global war.

Keep in mind that in the first chapter of shingeki no kiojin Wit Studio changed Eren's dream, for this reason at the beginning of this special chapter Mappa corrected that mistake. Mappa made this correction due to the importance of Eren and Mikasa's dream for the end of the story. In the first chapter of the manga and at the beginning of this chapter it is understood that the dream that Eren mentions having had is about Mikasa and him, what was shown in the first chapter before Eren wakes up (titans, toys and corpses) is a change made by Wit Studio and has nothing to do with Eren and Mikasa's dream shown in the first chapter of the manga.

Annoyingly I got spoilered for Hange hours before the episode released because of some anime channel uploading everything possible for clicks, thankfully I seen the thumbnail of her on fire and the title and because no one else had the episode yet I assumed it was a bit of a troll, but when she took on the colossals I then knew it was true, but I would have thought she was a goner by that point regardless so it was like a semi spoiler.
Its just SO annoying that someone would take a thumbnail of her sacrifice and upload it knowing they got it super early. I didn't go searching for it, I was just scrolling youtube and BAM title with HANGE DEATH SCENE, like cmon man please.
