And final about The Tiger of Mysore Tipu Sultan , he was the one on whose letter even today people of Mysore and its neighbouring states get the land related grants(or compensation) during heavy rains and the extra water gushing and flooding their own land . Krs dam would not have been completed if Kanambadi Katta was not built as Kanam badi Katta was built as a way for drinking water and it also diverts water . And the hydroelectric station would have not been built if Kanam badi katta was not buit . So i conclude that all these are chain reactions to improve the need for water resource with the existing technology and advancement of it during that period of time. When KRS dam excavation was being done by Sir M Visvesvaraya he recovered one stone which had engraved that: Tippu sultan has started this dam and only God knows who will complete it. This information was received by Dr DV Gundappa when he was young and conversing with Sir MV and is recorded in DV Gundappas writings
There is no need to call others bewakoof or gaddar. If he has done some work, he had selfish interests also. We all appreciate his bravery and care of citizens. Our elected representatives must follow his guidelines.
