The director is good. The problem is you have a cast full of professional comics. My money is on LOTS of improvising. Since they're supposed to be the "funny guys", they probably didn't allow columbus to even touch their jokes. Fuck Sandler, fuck this movie. Hopefully no studio EVER gives him money again. I don’t think Pixels was the worst movie he ever made but by the time it came out people were sick of Adam Sandler and his repetitive tropes. Almost every movie he’s ever made has the same plot which has been done to death. And the premise of Pixels was done better by Futurama. And before anyone jumps on me with the ‘different’ plots let me demonstrate. Tell me if this sounds familiar, Adam Sandler plays a nerdy or quirky underdog. He meets a nice gorgeous girl but has no clue how to pursue her. (Its SOO obvious they’re not going to end up together.) He has a grandma or a total loser as a best friend who try to help him with whatever he’s trying to accomplish. Meanwhile a few bullies try to steal the girl he’s after and get in the way of his goals and it’s not clear why they’re so invested in sticking it to him so badly. Without having to really try he wins what he wants to win, the bullies are humiliated, and the woman who was way out of his league for no apparent reason changes her mind about him and falls in love with him

There are times where it's tries to have kid friend moment, but then it turns into a adult joke. I'd say your better off renting it at RedBox and skip to the action scenes. So yeah, it's a rental. It wasn't good, I wasn't mad like everyone else did. P.S. The scene that Korey's talking about that made him give it a Some Ol' Bullshit; I saw that scene, didn't see the problem; that has to be the most childish reason to give this movie a some Ol' bullshit. Not going to lie, I was interested when I first saw the trailer. But then Adam Sandler appeared and I did not even try. Glad you guys suffer movies so we don't have to. For the most part anyway.
