    Hello, Thank you for your input. May I ask, all the textual content of my book is entirely my own original work, and I have also handled the editing and proofreading myself. However, when translating the book into other languages, I utilized AI tools. Given my situation, which option should I choose? I truly appreciate your help!

    I have a question. Aren’t you still protected if you use AI generated content such as Midjourney or something similar to Midjourney as long as the TOS states that if you have a active paid subscription then you are allowed to commercially sell the images you create through the image prompts?

    • @LatoyaNicoleOfficial
      @LatoyaNicoleOfficial  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both platforms (Midjourney and KDP) have their own TOS so you'd just want to be sure you follow the rules of both to be safe.

    I have gone in and changed mine already as in the policy it asks readers to report any content they feel is not stating. Therefore it seems better to be upfront rather than wait for someone to report it and possibly lose my account. Thanks for the info

    Confused. So If the majority of my images are from a site like Pixiby, is that considered AI-generated? and Etsy ready to up-load books? TIA

      You won’t know unless they disclose it or if you ask them. This is why I suggest hiring an illustrator or creating your own.

    I am close to finishing the self-publishing KDP process for my young adult fantasy novel. I have not used any AI on my interior pages. However, I did pay a graphic artist to create my book cover design. The graphic artist used AI to create the book cover I purchased. I presume I still have to check yes for AI, correct?

      Congrats on finishing up your book! Yes, you'd want to disclose that AI was used.

    Hi I have a question is it safe to use images on Etsy if I didn't create it

    • @LatoyaNicoleOfficial
      @LatoyaNicoleOfficial  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With any images that you don't create or hire an illustrator you'd want to be sure of the rights and now you'd also want to see if the seller is willing to disclose if they used AI to generate the images so that you can check the correct box when uploading.

      @@spirituallylovingme-11 In short, AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the development of computer systems and software that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. You can do a google search for ChatGPT and Midjourney. Those are 2 examples that people have been using to help with books.

      @@LatoyaNicoleOfficial Amazon changes their minds on things on the fly. Hope there isn't a long term plot on their side like banning AI then coming out with their own AI instead. My book literally has one image that is AI.

    Why have AI-generated movies and games not been in violation of copyrights? Why only AI-generated books?

    • @LatoyaNicoleOfficial
      @LatoyaNicoleOfficial  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Currently, AI content is acceptable as long as you abide by all of their other content rules. They are not currently saying that it is a violation of copyrights.

    Hmm. I sketched and painted an A.I. picture I loved. The scene is the same but the colours are completely different. I am going to use my watercolour as a book cover. Do you think because i painted/ reproduced an A.I picture, using my own art supplies, by hand using paint brushes, into a paper art pad that I should declare its A.I assisted? IMO the only assistance I had was seeing the A.I picture, so reproduced my version of it using my watercolours. It didnt even hit anything technical, until I copied it and put it onto facebook for comments from friends. If Amazon would think its an A.I assisted just because I saw it, then WTF? We'd all be assisted cos we dont know where the pictures we see are from, right.

    • @LatoyaNicoleOfficial
      @LatoyaNicoleOfficial  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! According to KDP "If you used an AI-based tool to brainstorm and generate ideas, but ultimately created the text or images yourself, this is considered "AI-assisted" and not “AI-generated.” Hope this helps!

    Amazon has no way of knowing how much AI content you have, they are just collecting data.
