    Dogg Pound was acually showing love for NY with that record, Biggie got on the radio saying Tupac and Dogg Pound were shooting the video in NY, when it was actually Snoop and the Dogg Pound, then their trailer got shot up in NY, thats why they were knocking down the buildings in the video, if you actually listen to the record they are not dissing New York

    The funny thing about "New York, New York"...if you listen to Kurupt on that joint, actually, he WASN'T dissin' NY. In fact, "NY, NY" is an old Flash and the Furious Five joint. What made the Dogg Pound's joint a diss was the video when they were kickin' over the buildings.

    Why did Prodigy want out of "LA, LA", but then go in on "Drop a Gem On Em"?

    • @michaelpruno4606
      @michaelpruno4606 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      According to Prodigy, he thought the verse was too hot to be on a mixtape track with CNN and wanted it to be on his next collabo with Nas on the mobb album. "Live nigga rap" was supposed to on Hell on Earth, Mobbs 2nd album. I don't think Prodigy was trying to avoid the confrontation...I don't know tho...us outsiders won't really ever know the truth far as that go

    • @rcole718
      @rcole718 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can understand that then. I always wondered if rappers held back on verses that they knew were just gonna be on mixtapes as opposed to just recycling a dope verse.

    What’s the difference y’all clearly soft just by admitting the song ain’t even a diss . Ny is soft always been always barking rarely ever biting .
