her holy relic looks cool, reminds me of a girl version of Namor. Also, Kyo and blue lillia are good combos to go with her considering the amount of debuffs applied, if you dont wanna use mono green
seeing reinheardt teams get destroyed is so satisfying
I'm glad that filo goes well with fest merlin and as i can see fest merlin doesn't need dupes for her ultimate so my 2/6 merlin is going to be happy

Team Idea:
Filo, Fest Gowther with G Sariel link, Red Brunhild / sub can be zeldris, ragnarok ban, deathpierce.
Red brunhild automatically applies 2 debuffs (atk and def down). At the start of the turn, use Gowther's seal with Sariel link to apply the other 3 debuffs, then Brun's aoe. This also gives stacks of Gowther's passive. Finish off with Filo. Full wipe. Also can beat the blue eli ult team because you can apply 5 debuffs without touching the enemy, and then single target away. This actually sounds disgusting
The red sariel link on Filo might be important tho, in which case sub in Fest Merlin for Gowther? Anyhoo v curious on her effectiveness with Brunhild
i mean its a good idea but u could just use fest merlin with G sariel link and get better results
@@ysoseriousd7894 I think green fest gowther applied 2 debuff and green Merlin applied 3 by using sariel and filo will apply 1 debuff
@@himalkanwar77 green fest gowther would apply 3 debuffs cuz of merlins passive, so u would get 6 debuffs on 3 enemys, so basically 18 debuffs turn one

Dude, I am just so glad I decided to do the Merlin summons up to 300. I pulled the new Merlin AND Freyr as well, while I still have enough gems where I can summon for the collab without being screwed for the New Years festivals.
you can use kyo . fest gowther with g sariel link thats 5 debuffs first turn with one gowther card and second turn if they survive kyo will apply 4-6 ignites
Also try her with red brunhild, so 2 AoEs that do big damage, and lots of debufs
Brunhild without diane relic and sigurd passiv won't do that much, also filo won't get any support other than the stat lower

That's exactly why everybody rerun Ban team nowadays...too much T1 wipe team if you play 2nd, so the only way right now to try to survive, just stack Meat Wall of HP with mono red, that's why Naofumi get a Revive Relic for in case he start 2nd and get one turn.
Is it worth summoning on new fest Merlin just to use her on this team?

Filo looks soo good but seems like she would be taken out in the next turn if someone focuses on her and like you said without green merlin who puts alot of debuffs she seems hard to use .

Jenna
Red Brunihlide
Naofumi
All three of these units can get only one debuff (Jenna through passive, Brun with Relic, and Naofumi with stances).
I don't think it will work (Jenna CC and stats sucks), but it could be fun to see I guess.
Or triple stance team with green estarossa in the back 😬😬😬
Is Merlin the only way to run her, or is there other optimal teams? I can pull Merlin but I want to save for this banner and end of year, I have 1100 diamonds

Here’s a team idea:
Naofumi, Raphtalia, Chad King, Gil in the back.
Worse case, r Tarmiel link skrews with King, but on the positive, extra defense.
Definetly gonna summon for her. I imagine her in a funny team with Kyo and pretty much any unit with an aoe debuff card. Put Green Sariel on that one and you have 14 out of 15 needed debuffs turn one. Should hit quite hard. I like her. The style with the magical claws, the heart animation before the Ultimate, her victory screen and her kit. She's cool. Really hope I don't need to get too deep into the banner for her, so I can still save for end of year.
her special decreasing defense related stats is something i need to invest. FILO IS THE BIRD TO PLAY FOR UNKNOWNS.
@@rogue1248 Not just Unknown, but any team relying on debuffs. She literally ist Red Sariels Grace or a weaker version of Base Ludociel but for the entire team. Sariels 50 % ignore Crit-Defense are nothing compared to her 45 % on Crit-Resistance and Crit-Defense for the entire team. And we got enough units, that provide a ton of debuffs. Kyo, Red Brunhilde, Awakened Mono, Base Arthur. You can combine Filo with Sigurd, with Christmas Lilia. She is pretty versatile and she is kinda balanced, because she can make any unit hit harder with the right setup without being too op.
So this means i need to loose matches for few days now since i am slipping Merlin and shield hero banner

You did call it. You said they'd release something/someone to make Merlin better, and they did. I guess technically she didn't make Merlin herself better, but Merlin plus her is a really freaking scary team.
