I’m at month 20. I did radiation and chemo and then a year of chemo. I have unmethylated MGMT and IDHwt and everything says that chemo doesn’t work on this kind. I’m glad I didn’t do that Optune thing. I would have shaved and been hooked to a battery all day and since my tumors aren’t back I would be giving them credit. Why aren’t mine back if it wasn’t chemo? Do I not do any trial until they’re back?
@@johnjacobs6062 thank you for your comment. When I did my radiation and chemo I road an indoor exercise bike starting at 30 minutes and an hour at the end of it. When I started my 5 day a month chemo I started the Couch to 5K app. After 2 months I was running 3 miles every other day and the exercise bike in between. I had been playing softball as a slow pitch pitcher but quit after surgery. The person who took my place broke their hand. I started playing again. I’m still playing. Some people have bad side effects from chemo. I had to take an anti nausea pill at night before chemo but that was it. I did the chemo for 12 months. If anyone with this can I hope they also exercise. Think about it. I feel better after 2 years of this than before. If I can have surgery again I will be more fit. If I hadn’t exercised I would be weaker and more tired after all the chemo. My tumor is back. It was spotted on my November MRI. I start a clinic trial in 2 weeks. I haven’t had any side effects yet. I’m bummed because softball starts in a month. They think I’ll miss a couple of games. I’m hoping they get rained out. I’m 70 years old. We all die and I’ve had a good life. I’m very lucky I haven’t had 2 bad years of this. I hope you do good too.
