Italian classical mixed with rock and it's an absolutely brilliant instrumental. The fiery trumpet and lead guitar are marvelous. Very impressive -- but then that's what Reverberi does.
(This was played on progressive rock stations in the US, including WNEW-FM in New York City). What an era it was. Progressive rock enthusiasts are still unaware of this blistering piece of music. Don't let the slow beginning fool you -- this is nitroglycerin. Tempts you to come in a little further like a Venus flytrap.

i heard this album at a DJ friend's house one night - it was a promo album his station had no interest in - and it became mine. every few months "I give it a listen". thanks to signori schumann, chopain, liszt, and especially signore reverberi!

C'est un plaisir mêlé de souffrance qui m'habite à l'écoute de cette pièce magnifique aujourd'hui. La petite moi de 14-15-16 ans...je dansais, seule, 1980. Elle m'a permis d'exprimer ma peine et mon chagrin en retenant mes sanglots et d'élever mon âme en grande détresse. Je pleure maintenant beaucoup en l'écoutant..à 51 ans. Merci, merci, merci.

I heard this late one night on Nashville's WKDA-FM back in the late 70s. It just blew me away. It is no less powerful almost 50 years later. Just gives me chills. From a time when FM radio was much more progressive than it is now.
