I always feel really bad for Willcraft (the creator of monster school). After he stopped making minecraft animations, swarms of kids would come into the comments of his later videos telling him to make monster school again. He was suffering from depression and really hoped to make good content, but none of his newer content ever got any attention. He actually started working on a horror game that had alot of potential. Sadly, any new content he made seemed to be sorted as "monster school" by the algorithm, leading to it never gaining popularity. He eventually quit youtube.

I would say it's just the way he animates. In the main series on his channel, Annoying Villagers, he actually toned down the "silliness" quite a lot after receiving some feedback. It wasn't a drastic change, but if you watch the series, you'll notice the difference. Most of these "Fat Herobrine" videos are just test animations where he tests various rigs and assets. I'm not 100% sure, but people on his Discord server explained it to me like that.

I've been playing this game for 8+ years and would consider myself way above average, especially in pvp. Of course there is no objective way to measure skill as minecraft has so many aspects, but i think it's still a fair thing to say.

I would say it's just the way he animates. In the main series on his channel, Annoying Villagers, he actually toned down the "silliness" quite a lot after receiving some feedback. It wasn't a drastic change, but if you watch the series, you'll notice the difference.
Most of these "Fat Herobrine" videos are just test animations where he tests various rigs and assets. I'm not 100% sure, but people on his Discord server explained it to me like that.

I've been playing this game for 8+ years and would consider myself way above average, especially in pvp. Of course there is no objective way to measure skill as minecraft has so many aspects, but i think it's still a fair thing to say.

I hate the idea of "dumb" down cartoons. Cartoons/animations has been so dumb lately that it shocks me. Like I get its supposed to be entertaining, but at least have some sense into it. This has been a problem with Minecraft since day one. It happens with any big communities that have kids as a huge audience. It’s sad to see children getting abused for views.
