After numerous attempts and moveset training/research I finally managed to get multiple full fights with Tyr while only using Blade of Olympus
The most important part of effective use of Blade of Olympus is its Parry. Successful Parry returns back a little bit of Rage, gives decent amount of I-frames and slows down time for the next immediate attack. In addition to that, you can transition straight to R2 finisher from a Parry, which will interrupt vast majority of Tyr's attacks. Blade of Olympus can also Parry the Unblockable attacks, but the timing on those is very tight and therefore I decided to play it safer and dodge the Unblockables. Besides, Dodging still works fine in Legacy Rage and you can easily take advantage of Dodge-based Glyphs like Realm Shift or Alfheim Strike
Seeing as the Parries are the key element of Blade of Olympus, you should generally focus on Perks/Glyphs that directly benefit Parrying. Some of the examples include Defender's Riposte which empowers your next attack after a Parry, Dragon's Fury which gives increased Strength on every Parry which can stack up to 3 times, and Riposte Rage Burst which will give you extra Rage on successful Parries (this one is a MUST have for Blade of Olympus builds). Aside from that you should generally prioritize Glyphs that increase your base damage (such as Nine Realms, Fortune's Strike, Divine Edge etc.), Stat increases for Strength and Luck and Glyphs that give you Relic charges (Soulless Rebuke/Assault, Fortune's Refresh) to stack up on Rage Burst Relic uses
These runs weren't particularly lucky in terms of Parry Glyphs. I only managed to get Riposte Rage Burst once, but this was compensated by strong base damage Glyphs. After that it's just getting into the flow, keeping the pressure on and monitoring the Rage bar
Take note that although I engage Tyr with Blade of Olympus only, I still clear the midphase enemies with normal weapons. I also accidentally hit Tyr with the Axe once in third fight, hopefully that won't be a dealbreaker for you guys :)

Great fights! Playing with the Blade is super satisfying, especially when you chain parries. I'm really glad the devs decided to let us use it in a NG+ run; it's been a lot of fun so far playing back through the game with it. Cheers!
Very good video with incredible skills wow 🔥. At least we can see that the devs make sure that the blade of olympus can be use like the blades of chaos or the leviathan axe
