Der christliche Glaube ist für die syrisch-orthodoxen Christen so wichtig wie das tägliche Brot. Daher wird ihnen dieser seit vielen Generationen von klein auf wie selbstverständlich in die Wiege gelegt - bis heute. Der erste Teil unserer Filmreihe beleuchtet den christlichen Ursprung der Suryoye im Tur Abdin/Antiochien.

Grundsätzlich ist es zu begrüßen einen Film über die Erlebnisse und Ereignisse der Vergangenheit zu drehen!
Gerade für die jüngeren Generationen und der Nachwelt ist eine Überlieferung per Film ein modernes Medium über die Geschichte der Suryoye zu berichten!
Meines Erachtens sollten allerdings mehr Aspekte, die zur jeweiligen Generation der Suryoye charakteristisch sind, berücksichtigt werden! Dies fehlt mir in den aktuellen Filmbeiträgen „ kothe lˋboli! Es wurden meiner Ansicht nach viele Probleme, wie zum Beispiel, Kulturkonflikte, Ausgrenzung, Konflikte in den Familien, die sich durch die Migration ergeben, nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt und dargestellt!
Viele der angesprochenen Themen könnten daher in zukünftigen filmischen Darbietungen aufgegriffen werden!
