I have some fabulous tips that will simplify your process and help you get the important moments documented. It was so easy to do and definitely made my album a one of a kind treasure.
I am sharing a few ideas, paging through an album, & then giving you some pointers on how to gather your memories and photos.

Lovely album. I also use peek-a-boo pockets and pocket pages. Genius idea of adding a smaller flip page. I've never seen that before. Thanks for sharing. 🌞

Beautiful album! I have always included memorabilia in my scrapbooks. I find it makes it interesting looking back at the places, prices, airline tickets etc. Thanks for all the new ideas for my upcoming travel albums. Love the pockets. You are just the sweetest Renee, thank you! Yes, all the bits and pieces give it life in my opinion. That’s the difference between a scrapbook and photo album. Both are lovely (and I am so happy when people actually PRINT their photos!!), but a scrapbook really shares the whole story.

Do you add page protectors over your flip flaps and interactive pages or do you cut the protectors?

I love your scrapbook! I was just wondering how you attach your peek-a-boo pockets?

Thanks so much Marilyn! My peek-a-boo pockets have a self adhesive strip. I either attach that flap under my bottom photo directly to the page and cut a slit in my page protector for it to go through or I attach them to the page protector itself. Often I will attach them to the page over on the edge of the page so it will just flap over from the edge of the page on top of the page protector. Hope that helps!

@@ruthtacoma Thank you! It DOES help. I was wondering if you used pages protectors (now I know!). Do you buy your 1/2 pages and peek-a-boo pockets from Creative Memories? I am absolutely in love with this idea, as I always do a formal scrapbook of my travels AND a junk journal, where I do my daily writing and add all the bits of ephemera….tickets and postcards and brochures, etc. Your idea of having everything in one place is amazing! Love, love, LOVE IT!!!

What a great album you have completed. All the interactive details draws me into your adventures and kept me interested into all the details, wanting to physically flip the pockets and the pages! More than a typical non-interactive one. The pages full of photos with the complementing design & papers -yup, gonna watch again & analyze what about your page design made me love it and incorporate that in mine. I have several travel albums that have been on 'to do' list - they'll get the benefit of peekaboo & pockets unlike their bookshelf mates done prior to those. When had to cobble together using photo mounting sleeves and photo tape. I had similar question re: page protectors- I guess you'll be adding them after filming due to glare. Did you use any Fast 2 Fab pages or just paper? Thanks for sharing!
