This episode is so funny. I remember the part when the therapist analize the monk and Sharona Relation. She thought that Trudy was the thing that makes problem with them
Imagine being a therapist and seeing that a wife sleeps in a tent on the floor and the husband has a picture of her ex-wife next to the bed, is just hilarious 😂
I am like 90% sure that the actors are exercising a lot of self control to no busting out laughing you can clear see that they want to laugh principally Tony ( re-watching after a long time)
He seemed more relaxed at Sharona's house. It was none of that "I have to have the bathroom by myself." She cooked for him every week. He always screened her boyfriends. Natalie never got to be on a first name basis with him.

This episode was supposed to be the first half season finale of season 2, but USA Network execs felt it was weak and moved it to the 2nd half of the season and replaced it with 'Mr. Monk And The 12th Man' instead.
You can actually tell that this episode was moved out of its original sequence. In the previous episode (Mr. Monk And The Captain's Wife), Stottlemeyer tells Monk that "Trudy's been gone for *seven* years." Then in this episode, Monk tells the marriage counsellor that his first wife "died *six* years ago." A minor error created that was obviously overlooked.
1.) I remember a scene before this: Sharona: Have you been drinking? Randy: Yes I Have 2.) I would like to see the scene where the counselor asks Mr. and Mrs. Monk to kiss and Monk is then seen gargling and Mrs. Monk says "Now that's just insulting."
@@Omega-qi4kn When we meet Sharona and Monk, they had already known each other for about 4 years (as nurse/patient, then as very close friends while being assistant/detective). We meet Natalie and Monk right at the beginning of their working relationship (assistant/detective) and get to watch them become close friends. Because the dynamic of those two relationships are very different, I understand why Sharona and Natalie interact differently with Monk.
